Wet stone at the top of the water fall, dig a pool/river at the bottom and allow it to fill to the desired level. Then place the same number of dry stones in the pool/river to maintain the water level. I usually manipulate the ground so both stone types are hidden from view. These stones work really well making fountains and water features also. You'll need to experiment with the amount of wetstones per the amount of single block outlets you have....i.e - 4 sided, 1 block outlets would require 4 wetstones to allow all outlets to have a 'fountain' effect (then 4 dry stones to stop the water feature/fountain over spilling. Keep up the series, really enjoying it. Also, good luck with the ACE and irrigation! I'm still scratching my head with it! It's almost as if the crop block looks for water in the wrong direction!

Lathrix if you want the waterfall effect permanently without it filling and then overflowing a pool you can cut a small hole going down where the waterfall will land and have it open into an underground room too big for the waterstone's effects to reach the sides.

@Lathland It's possible to have up to 14 geomancers... max.. on a playthrough. It will have to be on your 13th re-embarkation. You get to take 3 hearthlings.. they keep their class and current equipment. Take 3 geomancers. You are allowed to take 10 additional items.. take 10 geomancer staves. Then you get one mid story on your new town. 140 golems ftw! Goems take VASTLY less cpu power than hearthlings. They only have strings for their job, pathing, and idle. That's it. They literally aren't programed to consider anything else. Be careful about them getting within combat range. They won't try to run.
