DoomCRAMs are (loosely) defined by being huge, single-shot CRAMs. Shared pellets arguably make a CRAM automatically a non-DoomCRAM (or less Doom-y, at least). 2. Timed fuses are generally terrible with mortars. Inertial and altitude fuses tend to work a lot better with them, as it means the shells can explode just above or under the water and hopefully still inflict some splash damage.

Senpai noticed you. In general underwater altitude fuses are better, as they cause flooding, reduction of speed (which will again, result in more mortar hits) and can benefit from the 50% bonus dmg modifier HE gets underwater.

@@Lathland True, but the timed fuses fail so bad at their job that it actually makes them kind of hilarious. It's almost like you're trying to intimidate the enemy by making the mortars blow up a couple of meters above their head. Not enough to cause damage but enough to make their life flash before their eyes every single time. It's psychological warfare.

Idea: Build some airfields on some of your islands with an abomination and dart squadron to serve as a fast reaction forces for light to moderate level incursions. It would help decrease resource usage because the abomination won't be constantly flying around using fuel constantly.

id say make the tank into a strait up underwater torpedo launch platform honestly we dont see to much of the ocean floor in from the depths i think it would be intresting to see something that legitimately crawls along the sea floor alot of the old onyx watch castle style ships have there ai mainframe surprisingly close to the underside of the ship or maybe a drill style melee craft that starts all the way at the sea floor and then pulls itself right up from under enemy crafts like a fricken shark

As in doing something like in one of his old campaigns where there were pylons that connected each resource zone together and then consolidated it all to one building/mega-base, or was this a nomadic playthrough?
