We make a sweet version, with date molasses and coconut, rice four plain flour. Make into batter and deep fry. We call it handesh. You can look it up in youtube

I like all your videos but especially the ones with your mum's recipes because they taste like home. The last year my mum made these for us, we used the dough hook on a stand mixer for the kneading part and it came out well. Disclaimer: your hook may get stained yellow, just putting it out there.

If children thanks his/her mother every single day throughout their life, it won't be the repayment whatever she has done for him/her. Therefore singling out a day to thank her is pointless. Praying for her wellbeing and taking care of her every needs every single day is much better to show your love to her rather than celebrating this so called Mother's Day which literally makes her feel valueless.
