Here's a factoid for you: Art Barr was meant to join ECW alongside Guerrero, but that obviously didn't happen because of his passing. They were meant to feud with Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge, The Public Enemy. Guerrero and RVD decided to honor Art Barr by using his Frog Splash move.

This was without a doubt the golden era of ECW (The worst thing about this time period was the ECW fan they all thought they were smarter then the Wrestlers and tried to dictate what went on in the Ring! Raven’s take on the ECW fans it’s honestly spot on) Eddie’s work in Mexico with Art Barr was actually better imo (The international scene was so much different then now) It’s a bit sad how so much of this point and time is long gone 😢

Few ROH ideas: Hulk Hogan in WWE 2002-2003, pretty sure he had 29 televised matches, Hulk Hogan would also qualify for his WWE run from 2005-2006 with 6 televised matches, and his TNA run as well with 3 matches. When Booker T returned to WWE in 2011 he had 6 televised matches so that would also qualify.

Had I known about it earlier I'd have gone to a local wrestling circuit here in Missouri that showcased Eddie Guerrero. As luck would have it I saw the flyer 2 weeks after the event. When my parents were newlyweds back in the late 60's we had a local wrestling show televised every Saturday night out of Saint Joseph, Missouri. My German mom didn't understand that wrestling was a show and would shout at the television when a heel did something illegal or just plain wrong with an emphatic "Vats he doing?! He can't do zat!" Wrestling became too big for it's own good with WE swallowing up everything. Perhaps we need to go back to local, small production circuits to get the wrestling we all know and enjoy.

You have to do a video on 2 Cold Scorpio, he`s one of the most if not THE most underrated wrestler of all time. He taught himself how to wrestle and he invented the 450 splash. Guerrero vs. Malenko was pretty much the feud in 1995. Eric Bischoff would either scout or "raid" according to Paul Heyman, and signed Guerrero, Dean Malenko, and Chris Benoit. Maybe not at the same time, but Guerrero was signed to WCW in '95. ECW was one of the first American wrestling companies to bring in Lucha Libre. Of course, WCW came calling, and the Cruiserweight Division was born. So, yeah, Bischoff poached a good portion of ECW's talent. He could pay them; Heyman would have difficulties paying his talent.
