I think I've identified a primary reason I resonate with your content: you don't cultivate a scarcity mindset (eg. "If you're not doing this you're missing out;" "Hop on this now before it's too late;" etc.). But you don't just say "abundance mindset" you also demonstrate calm and an acceptance of the commitment, both of time and energy, necessary to see results. Many thanks. As always, a great video/podcast.

I just had a talk with my frat brother about finding my target audience and creating the messaging for them. My market is women from 30-55 who enjoy dance fitness with Hip Hop, Soca, Afrobeat, RnB. I teach dance fitness and have been doing KZbin since 2017. I quit posting to IG for 2 years and have got back into it recently. I still struggle because I always feel like social media is a waste of time and hard to convert into real money. I'm still figuring out what my messaging is as what I have been doing isn't' working well. On another note, I have seen you in the Honeybook ad and it's really good. Good to see another creator making money from different sources.

Thank you for the kind words! And yeah, you really have to test different messaging/positioning to see what works best for your audience. I wish it was easier/faster 😔

Question to ponder: What is it about yourself that would attract and entertain people? That may help guide what’s next. For example, if you are hilarious and a great storyteller, then maybe it’s Story Time or Get Ready With Me content on YT, etc.

Thoughtfully Modern Architectural Design 🤘 I am constantly tweaking this "tagline" to perfectly represent our philosophy. It's difficult to cram so much into such a short phrase or idea, but over the years it tends to get easier as our business becomes more defined and recognized for the services we provide. Love these entrepreneurial exercises!

It's about that short and simple elevator pitch that can hook people in! I totally agree that personal branding is something all people need to consider building. If anything, I believe it's essential for all entrepreneurs. Most big brands these days are trying to be more "human" in how they connect with their audience - hence the rise in influencer marketing! Thank you for the insight Latasha, great video! Also love the background set up with that lighting bolt - makes the screen pop!

This was so helpful. I just started posting videos of places but with ideas of things people can do. I struggle with engaging people to the content. They mainly like and view. On TikTok the views are much promising than Instagram. It is demoralizing but maybe I am not doing some things that are greatly needed

Great video @latasha! I’m a Podcast Brand and Growth strategist who works with personal brands and thought leaders to help them master and monetize their message through podcasting. I love what I do, however, my challenge and question to you is this. I’m also big into personal development and host a podcast centered around personal growth. I’m looking to build a personal brand right now on KZbin but wasn’t sure if there’s enough overlap between personal growth and podcasting where I can talk about both on one channel without confusing the audience. What do you think? Thanks for all the great content. I’m a fan:)
@thelatashajames2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Such a good question! I think you can incorporate the two into one channel. Since your audience consists of personal brands/thought leaders who are liking into personal development AND podcasting content, I feel like one channel makes sense. You can always start by slowly incorporating the new topic in here and there to see how people respond to it. Good luck, your podcast sounds awesome!
@Ozeal2 жыл бұрын
@@thelatashajames Appreciate the feedback. I like the idea of slowly incorporating, let's say more personal development content on the channel to see how the audience responds. I do feel there's a strong tie between personal development and podcasting/content creation, anyway so it could work. You do a great job of mixing it up and making it work. BTW, glad you're rocking w/the podcast too. Would love to chat with you on the show before the year is over:)
