When I was young a woman from the newspaper came to take a photo of my mom and me for the Easter issue. The photo is going to be of the two of us on a tennis court. She asked us a few questions and took the photo. I told her I was proud because I had recently won 1 game against my mom. Of course, my mom had won the other 6 games to win the set. But the woman changed the meaning, and the caption read Girl Beats Her Mother at Her Own Game, making it seem like I beat my mom. I learned that the media will change what you say to suit their needs. Take everything you hear and read with a grain of salt. And give people the benefit of the doubt.
