This is a great description of Ajayeb Dubai portrait. I blind bought it and still have not made up my mind about it. I will wait until summer to see how it acts in heat. The opening is very nice, but it is that "vintage-y" part that is making me unsure if it is for me. As you said, if one is use to designer fragrances (which I am) this might be bothersome. Everything you said is spot on.

Fabulous frag, love it! Back up bottle worthy. I think it's going to hold up well in hot 🔥 weather😊 yup, it's the Bomb-diggity! Thank you, Cee. Review is spot-on😊 Cee, I've had mine since release 2-3 months, and it has developed very well so far. I think it will hold up in heat. Projection I'm getting 3ft ish, and sillage--nice scent trail. I don't think it's a room filler, but in summer heat, I'm really not looking for that anyway. You got to luv the folks around you 😂

Mango? Now I'm curious. It's my favorite fruit! 😃 I got the regular Ajayeb Dubai early this week and it smells to me like cookies and coffee! I love it!

Besides the Biscoff cookie and coffee with milk notes, I also get like a plastic scent with a designer-ish woodsy background reminding me of some Salvatore Ferragamo and Paco Rabanne fragrances. The notes say, "Bask in the alluring top notes of succulent pineapple and exotic saffron as they present a tantalizingly fresh and invigorating introduction. This captivating start smoothly transitions to the heart notes of tender violet leaves and robust coffee, adding an intriguing twist to the fragrance story. As the perfume settles, it reveals its warm base notes of creamy butterscotch, soothing sandalwood, and sweet vanilla. These elements bind together to lend an irresistible depth and richness, ensuring a lasting fragrance that lingers throughout the day or night." Thankfully I don't get the saffron, which I don't love, and tends to smell like stinky leather to me.

@@CatLover-g7j Yeah! I got Byzantium Saffron from The Merchant of Venice on a MaxAroma $300 mystery box and it was yuck. Only leather fragrance I have and like is Tom Ford Ombré Leather, and it's because one spray in the back of the neck hits my nose softly and it's nice.

Because of your review I got this today at my local 'Arabic' store ❤ in the mall lol. The mango opening is so good and the dry down is slightly woody and floral. A few coworkers and I were gushing over it!

I blind bought it and almost wanted to send it back, but decided not to. I hate the opening, you are correct, it gives me very vintage vibe. But the dry down becomes very soft and kind of creamy, after 6-7 hours I get some peach. But for now I am afraid to use it😂😂.

I'm just like you one week in with this fragrance. 😊 For now I love the citrus/mango opening but I'm struggeling a little bit in the drydown. I would also like to thank you for the recommendation of Leen, absolutely love that green mango note and I need to buy a back-up bottle!

I want to love this so much, but i cant :( when i saw the reactions and the notes i was 100% sure i'll loooove this, but thank god i tried it before blind bying. This on me only smels OUD. No fruit and no tropical at all, only Oud and boisé feel

Hola Cee,a mi me gusta mucho Ajayeb Dubai Portrait Es un mango con citricos muy dulce ,afrutado en la salida pero después se transforma en un mango con maderas .Digamos que es como un aftersave femenino 😂 A mi me gusta porque es un perfume mas maduro ,no el tipico para niñas Has presentado el perfume igual a como lo percibo yo En cuanto a duración de momento noto que no proyecta mucho pero dura en ropa dias El mio es nuevo batch Un saludo Cee

I get pineapple instead of mango 😂 and it’s funny many reviewers say the same. May be it’s the mixture of the citruses and the juicy mango. overall it’s a unique one and I’ve grown to love it very much.

I bought it for just 17 USD and im mindblown by the quality. I prefer this to the overpriced God of fire where i hardly detect any mango. This can give tough competition to other niche mango frags and that too at such an awesome price.

I just got it and absolutely hate it. I can't smell mango at all. All I smell is toned down citrus (very quiet) and woods. The perfume itself is very weak, I doused myself with it and in 15 minutes I can't smell myself anymore. Very disappointing! Got mine on TikTok shop. Same where I got Vintage Radio (amazing perfume). This one is just bad.

Yep! I tried to warn people on another content creators page that hyped this perfume up. I had mine for 6 months and it remained the same. I dislike it very much and it IS NOT a safe blind buy!
