Never heard about Martin Luther and the great split of the catholic? The reason for the 30year war in Europa? Have ever seen "Die Anstalt"? Very good and with different comedians ore "heute SHOW". Together with "extra-3" the best political comedy shows today.

Hagen Rether is a really good politcal cabaret | satire artist. It really hurts to listen to him. But this one is for non German speakers a little bit tough. I would recommend to you the one about USA and North Korea. Thats not so "german" related topic

I would like to tell you, that those, who respond to you on this channel, are the upper 20% of Germans that speak very good English. 20% speak none 60% would not starve in an English speaking county, but also they are unable to have a proper conversation, as they do not get the respond 😅
