“You are no one’s dress up doll” is a line that hurt so much. Laudna’s backstory makes me sad and angry. To me it shows how Delilah thought of those invited to the feast as dress up dolls, pawns in her game. I think it shows how Laudna wants a life better for those around her, to be more.

Marisha was such a genius with Laudna. Only recently did I realize that patee' symbolized her; A puppet being controlled by a powerful woman who only has life so long as her master wants to play. Can we also just think for a moment how much resentment laudna must actually carry for Delilah? The woman sent her to hang and then had the Gaul to bring her back just to continue using her. Laudna has definitely been my favorite character this campaign.
