For future projects, you can put some clear coat over the painter's tape before you paint and get the same effect as the caulking.. without having to scrub anything off. You can also use the same color as the basecoat, but in rentals, where you don't know what the color is, clear coat is better.

Nice marriage between 50s/60s/70s. Turquoise is 50s, orange is 70s (never together during their eras). Only some of the pillows are hippy 60s (hippy decor and common decor totally different from each other). I haven't seen that wall pattern since 1976. The only time I ever saw an atomic starburst light fixture was in a restaurant when I was 4. (1964). They generally were for lounges and restaurants. Too bad you couldn't find a mushroom lamp for that wall. And no lava lamp?? But nice marriage of all three decades.

How were you able to draw the geometric shapes on wall so perfectly identical in size? I wanted to create a shower curtain with this design. Can u do that on one of your episodes?

To do this, I just cut a single half circle cardboard template and then traced that a ton in whichever direction. The key is to take your curtain measurements, figure out how tall/wide your design should be to repeat it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure any caulking you use is "PAINTABLE"!!! Silicone caulking, like for your shower or kitchen sink IS NOT PAINTABLE and both you and your landlord will hate you lol. Easier is just to use gesso, or leftover paint that matches the undercolor to seal the edge of the tape 👍❣️. Speaking from experience 😖🤪

Not my style but a very big improvement in the room. Designing those shapes looked like a tedious job. You really need to have patience. The addition of the thrifted furniture pieces worked very well. I think this design suited the owner who complimented your personality and made it a more personal makeover.
