Having seen your giraffe toilet friend in this video, I have been meaning to let you know that I've had that on my wish list of things since you first got it, but was restraining myself because I was planning to move across the world and buy a house and it would be one less things to have to move. 3.5 months ago I moved into my newly acquired house and one of the FIRST things i got (literally, before even the couch and proper bed) was the brontosaurus version. I call her Charlotte Brontesausus, and she makes me happy every day 🙂

Worked on my backyard for a few years with this idea & am quite happy with it! Now I want the inside of my tiny-ish home to ALSO be a Staycation Destination, but I’m not quite sure what that looks like… I think you do! Part of it is not having too much stuff, but I’m not a minimalist…somehow I feel like Staycation Destination would mean a bit less maintenance of my environment…. Any Ideas?

Some of these I knew and use. But the olive oil solution and the museum putty info is so helpful. Thank you. FYI, I use the “plate” hack under a pottery pitcher that I love to put fresh flowers in. The glaze on the handmade pitcher doesn’t prevent a slow moisture leak, so protection is necessary if I’m putting it on wood.

I have to laugh, you "wall papered" your outlets and its stylish....when I painted the outlets while painting the wall I was called stupid 😭 (But to this day people have to ask where the outlets are when plugging something in because they cant find them !) 🤣 Still waiting to see Baguettes Academy Award trophy. It’s funny because earthquakes are the only natural disaster I’m familiar with. I don’t know anything about living in snow, tornado, or hurricane places. We had an earthquake this very week. Scooped Baguette up to get into the doorway, and she looked very bored and confused. 😂
