What annoys me about Moon is how everything he talks about is always an existential threat and the worst possible thing to happen. There's no nuance; it's just painting things he does not like or is concerned about in the most negative light possible. If I were young and impressionable (I'm far from that), I might get the feeling that the world is a terrible, dark place, and I can see these people being pulled into the right wing echo chambers. If there's something we need today, it is more nuanced takes / actual exchange of ideas resp. viewpoints - and less confrontational tribalism.

Definitely, but, I would say, That’s more of a marketing/KZbin algorithm tactic so he can get more views, I pay attention to the content, not the meaningless thumbnail/title which to me, Doesn’t describe anything the video is about.

Right?! Riiiiiight!!??? I'm so happy to see people critiqueing him because he's just so bad. He plaigerizes constantly, almost as often as he uses the word "atomized" which is usually several times per video, so there ya go. He just loves that word. The fear mongering on his channel is just out on control, and he calls stuff that is just plain, unbiased reality "woke." (The whole antivax thing is a good example.)

his first few videos were good and spot on but after that he just started milking the whole formula of "why is more evil than you think" and it is just so painfully dramatic, repetitive and fake now. i really hate the current climate of the internet where authenticity is a thing of the past and everyone is just trying to farm people's attention for ad money. 15 years ago if you saw something funny online, chances are it was just something someone found funny and wanted to share. it was innocent. now its just content farming, all calculated and engineered to keep your attention for ad money. if someone DOES do something authentic and interesting, they instantly try to turn it into a standardized piece of content they can churn out regularly, EXACTLY like moon has done. once i started noticing this i couldn't really watch popular content anymore. when you think about it its all the same garbage but slightly different. wow a new video by cr1tical titled "Huge Drama" that's the same as his last 1000 videos but with a slightly different twist. it's all just content being churned out to keep your attention, it's the same video over and over and over but with slight changes just to keep the attention of the average youtube bingewatcher.

If Moon is "Societal Commentary to the next level", I don't want to imagine what the scene was like before they created their channel... I've said this in Jack Saint's video, but It's just unfathomable to me how such a channel could even exist. Thank god someone else also noticed the flashy video editing that only exists to look flashy and to distract audiences from the constant bs, and the tweet at 12:40 not having any sources or a link or anything to back it up. Also the post and ENTIRE VIDEO of them saying that their viewers will never amount to anything is completely ridiculous. Moon doesn't know anything about me or even my own existence, what right do they have to say these things about me, let alone everyone else, and try to pass it off as some objective truth? Also the "house of cards" statement a few seconds later can be applied to Moon themselves. As long as ONE person recognizes their bs, their house of cards will fall from that one person's gust of wind, hell, it really only takes 5 seconds for anyone to realize. Crazy how Moon makes comments like this that can apply to themselves and think there's nothing wrong with the hypocrisy. Absolutely shameless...
