Everyone talk's about Garfield's redemption when he saves MJ from falling, but nobody talk about Tobey's redemption of saving Norman from his own glider. That has haunted his character for so long, he even says he's been thinking of how to cure Norman for a long time, so its clear that his failure to save him in the first Spider-Man movie has stuck with him. Also yes there will be more Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland. Contracts have already been signed for at least 3 more.

@@dshih199 I think they mean as a personal villain. Green Goblin specifically targets people Spider Man cares about and is a direct foil to Spider Man. Thanos on the other hand can't really be pin pointed to a specific hero. You cant call him a Captain America villain or an Iron Man villain, the closest would be Fantastic Four if were looking at the comics or Guardians in the MCU but because his plots are so large scale its hard to specify. In fact just as you said the same thing with Joker, its the mental games that make Green Goblin a threat.

In a way, Peter finally becomes Spider-Man at the end of the movie: He finally gets his "great power, great responsiblity" moment, and the last costume you see is the comic accurate one (red & blue vs. red and black or armor). All three movies are just a presursor leading up to that final scene.

My favorite thing about this movie is that it doesn’t treat any of Spider-Man’s legacy on film as flawless- in a lot of ways it’s a movie *about* how these movies are ALL somewhat flawed stories about flawed people, and it offers the narratives of every character involved a loving sense of catharsis by being a story about second chances.

Come on, it's the master of illusions) and whoever else they want to invite. Probably Kraven, if the Sony universe gets fully connected with the MCU one after Multiverser of Madness? Maybe they will use that as the big finale of Peter Parker and a passing on of the title Spiderman to Miles Morals in the MCU in a few years? Miles uncle was already introduced in Homecoming. I just wonder if we will get a Spiderman/Venom crossover movie before or after Sinister Six. Because, it's definitely coming!
