Randy's articulation was stunning. He also had such a unique sound and tone. I love him. Forever in my top 5 of all time.

The full video is amazing on this. You can hear him playing bits and pieces of revelation, believer, crazy train, sato, suicide solution, dee, goodbye to romance, and mr Crowley. It’s sad to think about what happened to this dude when you watch him playing with quiet riot. It’s surreal to think he was about a year away from success and less than three from his death and in that time span he had gotten so much better

I hope someone will find never before seen unrealized footage. Sharon or someone or a lost song

I hope someone could share some light here. Randy is consider a true innovator. Yet most of his spotlight solo with Ozzy is based on Quiet Riot. Ozzy obviously told him not to play clean/classical bits. Still its about same solo and in the meantime he has been labeled as metals rising star. "The Jam" ehich came into the Ozzy live show fall '81 is onle new thing

Not based on Quiet Riot..use your ears. The common denominator is that’s it’s RR playing both solos. Tribute solo was its own amazing thing. This is pre Ozzy..so those bits of ideas would go on to turn into full fledged songs with Ozzy. Randy wasn’t aware that a year later, his life would change, join Ozzy, and become a legend.
