I love how our home movies and family photos all look exactly the same from like the early 70s to the early 2000s. The only things that change are our cars and our clothes. The pic/vid quality stays exactly the same. My childhood photos from the early 90's look like they were taken in the 1970s because of the picture quality and the fact that all of the furniture in my grandma's house actually was from the 1970s. The early 2000s is really when that all changed.

This is a rant that I feel would be therapeutic for me. It gets a bit disturbing. After accidently coming across a horrifying video of a baby being abused with sleep deprivation, I cried. I sobbed for a good 5 minutes. She was no older than 1 and her eyes were red. She looked exhausted. Thank goodness the baby is okay and is in a safe place now, but my heart was hurting. I looked up "funny baby videos" to make myself feel better and this pops up. My tears have never dried so quick. These babies are so precious. This is now my comfort video. I know it's pretty much a universal thing to be sickened by child abuse.. But I CANNOT handle it. I've seen 1 or 2 other terrifying videos and that have left me in tears. I just can't wrap my head around who could hurt a baby, I hope anyone who does, gets what they deserve.

i cannot stand the sight of a baby in the mildest distress , not to speak of overt pain , even if the distress or pain are for overall benefit of the baby ( injectable medicine , vaccination etc ). That is one of reasons i could not opt for a specialisation in pediatrics and had to choose adult medicine instead
