LAUNCESTON!? WTF?! Why don't people recommend this place?! We fell in love!

We had such a great time in Launceston, one of the best meals of our lives at Blue Inc. Cafe (Get the lamb, you will be amazed!) a great stay at Old Macs Farm, that just kept getting longer and a bit of random sight seeing about the place.
It's not the kind of place we expected to enjoy so much, but it really was super cool.
Lots of old buildings and homes and just a lot of history that you don't really see where we come from, which made for nice drives around the Launceston hoods.
Definitely get down and spend some time here. I bet you end up staying longer than you planned like we did.
Oh and I'm a sucker for charcoal chicken and there is a freaking amazing one right in the guts of town! Enjoy!

Great Video, I enjoy following up your journey, very nice, sorry about asking you a technical matter how you film yourself the depth of field, (Bokeh) are very nice and professionally, I assume you are filming between 1.8 or 2.8 aperture? Hey buddy. Thanks again! :) I use a full frame Canon R5 and Sigma 18-35 f1.8 for the run and gun stuff. Then a RED Helium 8K and more lenses than you can poke a stick at for the nicer stuff. I don't go too much into detail about gear and what not, since the reality of our situation is that we run a production company and the stuff costs a bomb, but we need it for work. So if we were KZbinrs we wouldn't have this stuff most likely, it's not really viable gear for people to get when they're starting out with KZbin. ☺

Lovely video. That Blue Inc Cafe looks good and never showed up on any of my Tassie travel research. I'll be visiting during Easter What camera do you use? The low light capability is great. Nice Bokeh from your lens too 👌

Thanks Mannie - Yep. The Blue Inc. Cafe is one of our favourties and it certainly didn't disappoint when we visited it again a few weeks back. Definitely put it on your list. 👌 These videos are shot with a mixture of Red Weapon Helium 8K and Canon R5 - with lots of fast glass. . .The R5 is very good in low light. But I also do a bit of work in post and some of that will include some treatment of noise where needed. 👍 Thanks again for your interest! 👍

Considering that almost every camera will have some noise, I find it hard to see any on this video. What editing software do you use to reduce noise?

Hahaha, neither could I, but had to find a way to make it work. Never regret it either. It makes beautiful pictures. I use lots of different programs, depends on the job. . . But mostly FCPX, Resolve and After Effects etc. Noise reduction is sometimes one of those, sometimes a mixture of. . .it depends on the shot. But the camera and the lenses are that good that it's rare to need it.

True, but then I’d have something that I wasn’t happy with… and unlike the majority of channels, I actually make these for me and my family. What may seem unnecessary for you actually triggers an extremely strong sense memory for me and whoever else experienced that same moment….. so there’s a method to the madness. 🤷‍♂️
