There is a thrust to weight in atmosphere, in the stage window you click atmosphere and it tells you the the thrust to weight next to the rocket icon

For your first launch you can build a rocket to get in orbit then keep switching between the rocket and mission control to complete the first few missions. They made it too easy by taking out the different complex limits until you updated them. You can build any size rocket and have full node planning capabilities right off the bat.

Yup. I realized that as the stream progressed. It took me a bit to realize you didn't need to bring the kerbal back.

for science has done quite a bit to soothe my worries about its future, however, it certainly feels odd that so many QoL things are changed in weird ways or flat out missing when seemingly the game is already keeping track of the info, simply not displaying it in the same succinct way as im used to... it often feels like ksp 2 misses the mark in certain areas because the devs are hell bent on changing things to make ksp 2 feel more personalised to them, rather than just sticking to what already worked in ksp 1... still excited to see where this goes, which is more than i could've said a few months ago, but certainly hope they iron out the lack of QoL features. so much of my time playing this game is feeling uncomfortable because im wanting to use tools that i relied on in ksp 1 that just arent present here.

A lot of the quality of life things in KSP1 came late in its early access.

I would like to see more KSP2. I need help with rendezvous with the new UI. Can you even do it in KSP2 yet?

You definitely can, though the tools are not as good as in KSP1. I'm still hoping for UI improvements as development progresses.
