Try washing your hands with Dr. Bronners soap mixed with baking soda. Rinse with water and a paper towel, or hand towel. Something to get the soap off your hands. If you leave the soap on your hands, they dry out real bad.

Elsewhere I read that late 2000 is when the key programming will function, so my 2008 Civic might not. But I have no idea if that is true.

Can I use this on my accord 2017 to set my horn sound as lock and unlock. Does it have any options like that ???

Hey boss need your help i have a 2001 crv went to replace the harmonic balancer notice a oil leak so i started the car with out the harmonic ballencer or the bolt the car ran for about 1 minutes then it cut off i noticed that the little piece of metal that holds the pulley from spinning felt off do i have to do the timing all over again or can i just put the metal piece back in and she is good to go..?

Best to do timing all over again unless you want bent valves and a new head

Changed my 13 civic stock rims for 2015 accord sport wheels and they look great BUT i get the TPMS warning light everytime i start the car on and stays on. Will this scanner remove that light and let me ride with the wheels as is or no?

did you move your TPMS sensors to the new rims?

Only for the first few minutes. Your accord uses the rotations of your wheels to calculate whether or not if the wheels are properly inflated. The bigger wheels are messing with your car’s computer.

I have a 2001 CRV. I'm finding that these more expensive scanners are a overkill as my car doesn't monitor alot of these systens. A Bluetooth I was looking at required 2004 or newer Honda models. Any recommendations for a 2001 Honda? Thx!!

The little cheap scanner will do the check engine light, they usually don't do SRS or abs though

@@hondaresource thx. It's the older Hondas that don't monitor the enhanced parameters that I have found. My TPMS is plugged into my cig socket. Works great. Great videos!

No, airbag light comes on when the side airbag is disabled with nobody in the seat. Not sure you have made a good case for this gauge if I have a 2003 Civic. Not interested. Too hard to understand how to operate.

this car has a problem with the airbag system, this scanner will do a lot of things that a regular scanner wont do. I was using it yesterday to monitor some live data on a 2004 civic while tracing down a misfire.

Interesting. My 2001 CRV has the steering column cocked to the left about 2 degrees. Straight from the factory. Told it was normal on the CRV.

@@darrylstevens2556 that wouldn’t fix your issue. An alignment shop should be able to get yours straight though

@@darrylstevens2556 I had the exact same situation. I eventually went back to the dealer twice with the issue to have it very close to level.

@@darrylstevens2556 This is something most alignment shops will not do, but should be done prior to putting on the lift. The steering column is off a tooth or two. Follow the steering column down to the footwell, and see where it attaches. I would mark it, so you don't lose your position. Move 1 tooth at a time. This will not do anything to your alignment. Does it pull to the side? If it does, make sure all of your rubber and joints are good. Shouldn't do an alignment with bad rubber or joints.
