I fucking love Subaru and the fact that they’re still competing in rally and rally cross! I have “Subaru World Rally Team” stickers on both rear windows of my STI because watching Colin McRae growing up is what got me into Subaru and Rally. I love to see Subaru still competing and seeing the dedication from everyone in the team and fans supporting. What I’d give to be at one of these events to be able to chant, “SU-BA-RU!” I absolutely love Launch Control and cannot wait till the next episode!

6 seasons of this video series now, and every single year we are told that the RallyX team is progressing. This is a building year. A learning year. Oh the car is a little bit new this year so it will take time to develop. This is finally the break out year! Nooooope. Different drivers almost every year, but it's the same story every season. I've been a Subaru fan for a long time, but can we finally admit that maybe this STI chassis just isn't right for RallyX?

I desagree, it is noticable the progress they made. One thing that hasnt ocorred are parts failure, that was common in the past. And you have to see that rx in particular is the kind of sport where luck takes a big part.

The first time I seen a sti was on gran turismo on the playstation 1. Yes a video game lol. I instantly fell in love with the looks. I’m very ignorant though to rally cars. Do these cars have the same motor as the street sti or are they different? Like I said I really don’t know shit.

RX just really, really isn't for me. Too much crashing and I really think anything racing where the main goal isn't to be the fastest just spoils the whole spirit of racing. This bad qualifying thing on purpose just makes me feel yucky inside. I get it, but it just feels off :/

Have a look at the starts at GP3R (ARX round 3). On the long start straight the Subarus were destroyed by the VW. The Subarus are definetly down in power.
