Met David and Drew. Incredibly humble guys! I also got to meet the production crew who was equally as easy to speak to. This is such an underrated production. I know rally racing isn't "that'" big in the states, but I wish we could find a way to build it and make it more accessible to other racing fans.

No joke man I want to tell everyone i know to watch this. I would do anything to go see higgins drive or pastrana. Not big on rally cross. Its ok but straight rallying on mountain roads has to be the coolest motorsport you can watch

Just drove Mt. Washington in a Buick Enclave. That dirt road is amazing - the cliff is literally right out the side. I can only imagine what it is like to race up the mountain. I would want a Subaru if I were to do that.

Can't say how grateful I am to ***** for this KZbin channel. For those of you who don't know, I'm also into motorsports (or was before children) and have done AutoX and DE events on every major track here in the valley. In an alternate universe, I am either/both an F1 and WRC driver. In this universe, I've owned a WRX, RalliArt (real one, not the badged up Lancer ES), EVO IX MR and I presently drive an Audi S4. I feel every turn, brake, and bump with these guys in these videos and am constantly searching for the best PC Rally sim to run across my 3 main monitors @ 7680x1440. Sigh..... :)

Obababoy Very busy, you cannot do this unless it is closed. The speed limit on normal days is a very slow 15 mph for nearly the whole climb - and when passing on that dirt road (two way traffic) it is so narrow that some cars just stop to let the other car pass. You will not be able to "have fun" on it, sorry.

they do but rarely use it. Only at the start

they dont need it at all..The car is equipped with 'No Lift Shift' which is basically pull the lever, car cuts out for a split second, and it clunks into the next gear. sequential gearbox helps that method as well. clutch is used for starting even then it's only an electronic clutch (think semi automatic), but you'll notice, for a full race launch, they hang onto the handbrake, because the clutch is already out, just holding it at full boost/revs to build boost. let go of the handbrake and they're away.
