Just bought a Creader 4001 for $20 (Ebay)... I am basically looking just for codes, and general info, so I don't get screwed by repair shops. Handy tool.

Didn't see anyone else comment on this. Figured I'd try to clear it up. In vid @ 11:45 - Inches of Mercury is a measure of vacuum whereas Inches of water column is a measure of positive pressure. For anyone wondering.

Nah most have 2 to alter fuel after its gone past second sensor so pre cat and after cat

Still have one,but it never worked on my 07 LS460. It scans,and says communication error. 1)Please check to make sure device is connected to DLC 2)make sure your vehicle is obdII compliant. I have a USB port,but no computer. So, they got their Dub outta me. Whatever.

does it work better then 10 dollar blue tooth scanners veepeak and kitbest. I heard the blue tooth scanners do more with apps on andriod. is that true I'm confused. can I have it connected while driving and do it do a drive cycle?

The blue tooth scanners are about the same as this. But, the ones I have seen you have to pay more once you download the app, if you want to see live data. So do research before you buy. BluDriver is a pretty good one, but as I said you have to upgrade the "app" if you want to use all its features.

If you want blue tooth, get a blue tooth scanner. All scanners that read generic OBD data are about the same. The ones that use android apps can have "hidden" fees to unlock all the features, so like I said do your research. Any of them you can leave connected while driving, if you're looking to do a drive cycle.

The CReader 3001 said the O2 Sensor bank 1 sensor 1not supported but the O2 Sensor bank 1 sensor 2 gave me a reading ... Does this mean my upstream 02 sensor is bad? also tried an evap test and it quickly read and said failed ... by the way this is on a 2008 Toyota Corolla S ... I AM SO CONFUSED.

No, even if the sensor is bad, there will still be a reading in the computer. maybe try a different tool.
