#NewShepard has flown 15 successful consecutive missions to space and back above the Kármán Line through a meticulous and incremental flight program to test its multiple redundant safety systems. Now, it’s time for astronauts to climb onboard.

I mean, I want BO to succeed. Competition is great for everyone, but let's not kid ourselves. At this point, SLS is more competition for SpaceX than BO is. BO is older than SpaceX and has literally done nothing new in 22 years. SpaceX went from being a joke to carrying 75% of global payload to orbit, and rapidly iterating a super heavy lift vehicle for transit to Mars with the most state of the art engines ever created. The BE-4 is no slouch but that thing hasn't even flown yet. And every shot of their factory we've seen, the place is empty, devoid of any evidence of New Glenn actually happening. There's a single fairing half that they've been talking about for 3 years now. I'm beginning to think BO is nothing more than a big tax write off for Bezos. Which is sad, because I love competition and new ideas.

They can't. The last decade (Commercial Crew, NSSL, Artemis - all of which they were passed over or lost to SpaceX on) has proven that. And that's while being backed by the richest man on earth. That's not a knock on them, because no one has been able to compete with SpaceX. @@bjarnes.4423 Tell that to Alan Shepard, I'll bet he'd be delighted to hear that his 11.7 Gs pulled during the reentry from his suborbital flight was no biggie since it wasn't a "real reentry" Reentry from orbital flight and a hop above the Karman line aren't comparable. @@bjarnes.4423 So what qualifies for reentry then? How many km/s? Meteors do 40 km/s. That's more than any rocket could ever launch stuff at. Maybe only that qualifies for reentry so humans never did it. No.. whatever goes outside the atmosphere into space and comes back "reenters" the atmoshere. It's all the same no matter what speed. I don't like SpaceX fan arrogance. There is no point hating on a billionaire spending his money on space stuff unless you hate space.
