Congratulations Inna! Good to see you in better spirits. I know you were disappointed to not teach at Oxford anymore, but no matter what, you were the FIRST to teach Ukrainian there and they can't take that distinction away. I am envious of your students in London. For now, I'll just keep working my way through your online course and your book. I recommend that to anyone wanting to learn Ukrainian. Hey I started watching this watching your channel shortly after the war started, and I wanted to let you know I took your advice and started listening to Ukrainian music like Antytila and Kalush. My vocabulary isn't very good but I'm starting to be able to speak it! My friends from Ukraine are so surprised! I speak to about 50 Ukrainians on Facebook everyday! Everything I do since the war has started has been focused on Ukraine and trying to encourage them and give them donations

I switched from learning ruzzian to Ukrainian. It was very easy to find books on grammar, but it's a different story altogether with Ukrainian. These books sound great. Good luck to you and your team, much success for your courses, lots of ❤, and Слава Україні.

Hello Inna, you look healthy and relaxed - I´m glad that you are doing fine. Forget posh universities like Oxford or Cambridge, there are many normal colleges in the UK. In 2009, when I tried to learn Czech, I met a young girl who told me that speaking Czech is a prerequisite for studying Czech, so she had to take private courses at university for 2 years as it´s rarely taught in schools until she could begin with her studies ! And there was only one date for the final exam. I was busy with physical chemistry then, there was no chance to write the exam in the end of June when I had all the other exams in chemistry. As a result, I regard teaching outside a university as a much better option for languages. Remember that you and your team are pioneers - until 2022, russian was more or less the linguistic key for Eastern Europe. I´m thankful that you edit all these important books for future students. I still think that the focal point in Europe will shift from Germany, which is now more or less a Hippie country, to Ukraine, the Baltics, Poland and Czech Republic after the war. Odds are that Hungary will rejoin the ranks of civilized countries and belong to this new military and industrial powerhouse. Regarding my private life, I have spent 2 months at hospital and many weeks I had to stay in bed due to a bad lung infection. I was prescribed something I was allergic against and was injected an antihistaminic cocktail by a paramedic. This mess is actually going on since late 2021. If I had been healthy, I would have volunteered and accepted president Zelensky´s offer in February 2022 and it´s very likely that I would already be fertilizer for sunflowers. When the war ends and I´m doing better, I want to volunteer for reconstruction in Ukraine and learn the language there (also by using your books, Inna). 😊

Congratulations, you are one of my two favorites for Ukrainian online instruction. The other one is Nika of Verba whom I've known for years. Please think about an center in Los Angeles, or preferably in Orange County, which is south from LA.

i probably saw comments on "why offline? why not online?" but come on, i can already have a business model as if i were a teacher myself: 1. you do offline classes, for sure, 2. you record lessons. that's what tons of college classes do. a lot of classes are "hybrid" until today, so recordings are meaningful. you cannot know if there are interesting student's questions that lead you to teach something else on the way. 3. online classes are convenient for those in other countries/time zones, for sure, but it's usually not very interactive. this is a language class, not remote IT jobs, so it just makes sense to be as offline as possible, but i think online elements will also help.

I like your videoes and think its great that you are making propper textbooks, only concern I have is that I can hardly find any reviews of most of the books on the store, If I am going to be spending sums of money on a book Id like to know how the examples are explained and set up, maybe you could make a video or something showing the setup and how the tasks are set up? not too much of course as you do want to sell this afterall. thanks!
