Navarre Kayak Fishing started as Nick's Guide Service and has developed into memories, friendships, and opportunities.
We changed the name to Navarre Kayak Fishing to provide better service to our local area, while providing the same one on one experience.

That's going to be useful for so many people. Our kayak fishing tour to Jaque requires this ability, and a good level of fitness. We have tours to more sheltered locations also. We tend to keep our pedal kayaks at these more sheltered locations, and keep narrower Stealth kayaks at Jaque as they are great in bigger surf. Another Stealth benefit is being able to stow rods inside the kayak hull until needed. I enjoyed this and will be looking out for the video on landing at the beach.

I have always wanted to paddle a Stealth off of our beaches! Fortunately, the Gulf provides tons of calm days and we don't have any issues getting the pedal kayaks off of the beach. Thanks for watching.

Remember that you’re only considering the primary swell. If there’s a secondary swell it will also change. The next factor is the wind. A north wind will lay down the surf a bit but a East or South wind will make is much larger/faster moving.

I have the 132PDL, when going back to shore i lifted up my rudder, and lifted up pdl drive because i was worried it would get damaged, i went in with the paddle, but last minute got turned, Your saying i should leave drive in unlatched , and leave rudder down?

In the majority of situations, yes. The pedals let you go in reverse and avoid breaking waves. It also lets you get into the beach more efficiently then the paddle.

@@NavarreKayakFishing ok thanks, when I moved here I was looking on Google Earth at the Sebastian inlet, thinking oh yeah, I could take my kayak out the inlet to fish the open ocean, until I saw it in person 😳, lol I do most of my fishing in the intercoastal, but now I’m trying to learn how to navigate the waves off the beach so I could fish the open ocean more… I just wanted to make sure I didn’t break my pedal drive or rudder when beaching…
