What is the range of the controller? How far away can you be from your boat? I bet people go nuts, seeing your boat float away.

Im assuming before you launch the boat you have to have the Minn Kota in mode with the yellow light on correct?

Yep, my 17 titan is towing a 30 ft catamaran with twin Honda 225 on triple axle trailer. Didn't want a diesel either, had to trade my 14 ram sport cause it wouldn't pull it out the ramp.

+Hubert Johnson I did have an incident where i did this launch on a sub-zero morning and the motor did not deploy... other than that the motor has been awesome!
