It won’t last long obviously. The hydrophobics are extremely weak in comparison to any spray n rinse sealant.

So does the truck have to be washed and dried before applying the snake oil coating? Or can you apply it while the truck is still wet from washing?

You can apply it right after you rinse any soaps off and it’s wet yeah

Once you spray this on with a foam cannon, would it benefit it's effectiveness of you rubbed it in with a clean wash mit before rinsing it off?

Never used snake oil specifically as we don’t get it over here but in my experience from using spray on-rinse off sealants you can apply it with a mitt, sponge or micro fibre when it’s still wet, you can literally use most of them as a quick detailer through a spray bottle, neat or diluted, depends on the products of course. Just make sure to apply it ideally on wet and cool paint and don’t let it dry on, just rub it in and rinse it off.

Yeah I got that mitt pole thing on amazon right here actually: amzn.to/3G07rQ5 Only thing I don't like about these is that they aren't a universal thread on the head of the thing, so you can't use a normal pole, the included pole is a bit flimsy, but they are holding up for me so far
