Sorry, but Laura can’t live with Keely at the mo. She should stick with the 1500, but she does seem to be struggling with that lately as well. Let’s hope it different in Paris!

She’s the only 1500m specialist that races down to the 800m and is still competitive. A 1:57 for an 800m is incredibly fast. A few weeks ago she ran a PB 3:53 for the 1500, which is one of the all time fastest times… I’d say she’s on target to podium.

@@amblincork you said “it doesn’t look good”, I explained to you that it actually does. Laura has never run this fast. If she were to run faster she’d be shaking the world record and that’s not realistic. Hull is a front runner and for her to succeed again the pace will need to be crazy fast - without a pace maker at the Olympics she may not be able to replicate. Muir is an experienced racer and consistently finds herself closer to the podium more times than not.

@@steventownley3342 and yet Bell ran 3 seconds slower than Muir in the 1500m this year. In fact, she was languishing well behind Muir at the Paris Diamond league a few weeks ago.
