I don't believe in zodiac signs, so to me this is just 7m 24s of Alan being Alan - pure bliss. Right at the beginning when the astrology girl on TV AM reads out his horoscope: "Your health gives you a stern warning..." Dave gives him a nudge and points and Alan nods. He's about 25 years old (1984) but he looks 10 years younger 😘. At 5:02 I take a deep breath because I know what's coming up. I've seen it about a hundred times before. Thank you for this video, the TV-am part is uploaded in full on You Tube, but it is a nice interview. I haven't listened to modern music or any 1980s music for many years - my brief interest in Depeche Mode and now in Alan, came about, of all things, - by a chance encounter with a book I found in the Library. It made me buy some of their albums and listen to them, and although I was not impressed, not just by their music - it is not my cup of tea, but their brashness annoyed me. However Alan's story, as the most talented musician among them, who was under-rated, moved me deeply and I respect and admire him. I also wanted to say, I do have some respect for Dave Gahan, after I saw a photo of him with his little son (not so little anymore), that also moved me, that in spite of everything that happened, he loves his son. Good on him for that. Things happen, and we can't always live a perfect life, no matter who we are, or what we do. He has my respect for that, even though I am not a fan of DM; but I am a fan of Alan. I wish them well. I am moving away from social media gradually, as I have been on too much through boredom and isolation, but at least we are able to express our views through the medium of the internet. We couldn't do that years ago. ❤🥰👍
