Great vid, great recipe ... and I beg to differ, this dish, the way you just made it, is definitely worth capturing on a photo just because to look at it makes the mouth water. Throw over the taters or noodles with veggies and it's a great dinner pic. I'm using the concept for some leftover rare tri-tip and this is perfect!! Thanx very much!

Haven’t made these in probably decades. The wine sounds good in them (will try this). The recipe I was given a very long time ago included whiskey. And allowing the tips to marinate in the whiskey,a bit of water overnight before slow cooking them. The wine would give it a better flavor,I’d think. The whiskey recipe is good also.

The butter and flour trick is called Beurre Manié. It’s equal parts butter and flour by volume mixed together. I keep some in my freezer all the time for when I’m going to be making a sauce or stew.

Ok how is that is Spanish ? Or just have to be pronounced on French? Cuz we do the same in Spanish and we have no idea that the French do the same shot 😂
