Dear Laura, I've been sitting back qietly the last couple weeks watching and observing your vlogs. You say so much without saying a word. You seem to be at a crossroads so I hope things work themselves out. NYC is a big, vibrant, exciting place but can also be quite lonely so I hope you got lots of support! At 56, when I look back on my life, there are for sure some regrets and a few things I would, or should, have done differently. First thing, but not the biggest one by far, I would have gone alone to my HS prom! Yes, ALONE! And woulda had so much more fun! Awww what can we do! Live and learn! I am a big proponent in "we only live once" and "follow your gut" -- that last one served me well cause each time I did I was never wrong. And a wise friend of mine once said to me, to be succesful in life, choose #1 the right career/job and #2 the right mate. And if you have those two things correct, you have a good chance at a happy life. I think it makes a lot of sense. Sorry for the long post, musings from a gray haired lady here lol. Hi Laura ! You seem to be doing better 😊 I left NYC after a breakup of 7 years . I could have stayed and very much struggled w my decision. But so you know I never regretted leaving . I do miss it at times but never regretted leaving. He ended up leaving later and followed me back home . Lifes funny that way . I will continue praying for you that you find peace w your decisions😊

Happy Saturday Laura. The carrot cake may have not worked cause the carrots were too fine or not enough liquid, you could try adding a little oat milk to make it a little wetter, if the recipe doesn’t have any baking powder try adding some, 1-2 teaspoons. Have a good week ❤
