Get the uppababy vista, can be adapted to two babies and looks lovely as single or double!lots of combinations depending on age gaps. Also has the largest storage basket and no bars where your feet step, meaning you don’t snag your feet! Had this for our boys who are 18 months apart. Congrats. Xx

Uppababy vista. 6 years later and baby no.2 is just about to stop using it and it is still robust. We got the vista on the proviso we would get the 2nd seat if our first was still using it. As it turned out baby 2 arrived when first was 4 yrs old so we never got the 2nd seat. X

Congratulations Laura!! Been following you for ages and so happy for you both! I’m a mama in London to a 2 yr old and waiting for our second ❤️ Best thing I can recommend is to sign up for NCT as first time parents, this will connect you with new time parents in your local area all sharing the best tips and tricks. Chances are some of them will have close relatives/friends with babies in your local area and be able to provide invaluable advice. The support in the early days is amazing. ❤️ Clothes for winter baby - The rule of thumb is baby needs to wear one more layer to you. So if you are wearing top and jumper, baby needs to wear vest, top and jumper. Love all the clothes you picked up already! Also add on M&S white multi pack of long sleeve vests and long sleeve suits (long arms and legs) for layering plus the days where you all stay in bed. ❤️ Keeping warm at home - blanket on top of baby in cot/bouncer , hot water bottles (warm pre heat of cot, not with baby in cot), and wearing baby to share body heat (plus so many other benefits). We have ergobaby 360 and has been amazing. Would highly recommend. ❤️ Pushchairs for 2 kids - my experience in a city (different to you of course) is unless you have a very close age gap chances are your first baby will want to be walking / on a buggy board attached to the solo pushchair. So don’t worry too much for purchasing double unless you are planning a v close age gap and/or see regular big non toddler friendly walks in your future. Potentially this is more true for you living closer to countryside with a dog. ❤️ Follow your instinct and enjoy! You are doing amazing x

My 6 children are all grown up now, but I still foster and have a ton of grandchildren. The one thing I would buy if I were you, would be a co sleeper cot. Especially if you breast feed. It's such a great thing to pop baby into a cot right next to you in the middle of the night, without getting out of bed! Freezing cold night, shattered from lack of sleep, not to get out of bed after a feed is priceless! It's been a really lovely video to watch! Thank you for sharing this special time with us all. 😊

I’m in the US, all my kids ( for my grandkids) bought a stroller/car seat combo. Here they run from about 150$ up to 800$ ish. The most expensive isn’t necessarily the best either. It’s all they really needed at first…probably for the first 6 months then they were able to determine what they needed from there for a better stroller. We bought a BOB revolution which is a small jogging stroller for the grandkids when they were here. We really loved it because it goes over grass like at a park, is great for walking and is easy to maneuver in stores. My one advice about clothes is look for one piece things that snap up the front, they hate to have things pulled over their head. We are in Texas so we didn’t need snowsuits and you won’t either until they are walking….get a warmer one piece thing with separate legs so that you can get him in a car seat. Fleece items were great for us. You’ll figure out what works for you. Congratulations! Boys are fun, I had 3 daughters but have 3 grandsons.

Congratulations again! My advice is to shop second hand for clothes bundles. Babies go through the smaller sizes super fast and you’ll be gifted probably a lot of newborn and 0-3months clothes that your boy will never be able to wear. In the first few weeks my winter baby was mostly in bodysuit+sleep suit and cellular blanket on top. He only started sleeping in a sleeping bag around 2 months old because he really disliked them beforehand and wanted to sleep on either me or his dad.

Congratulations Laura and Ollie! When I was pregnant with my first we went to Lamaze classes and met other pregnant couples, some of whom I already knew. After my son was born, I joined a playgroup of lots of other moms with their babies. It was great to have time once a week to chat about what we were all going through and it gave my son a chance to play with others his age. We took turns meeting at each others homes. I highly recommend you do something similar. Also, I read a lot about pregnancy and babies, which helped tremendously.❤. Your mother can answer a lot of your questions, I’m sure. Consider buying a used Pram. You need a good car seat right from the start.😊

Congratulations! Re the buggy, buy one that can convert. We did - and it turned out to be a great idea as ours are 15 months apart. We used our travel system until our #2 was 3.5! Toddlers can get tired when out and about. We went for the icandy peach. It had great manouverability, the kids were 'stacked'. we ended up with #1 on a buggy board at the back while #2 was in the seat. When we were done with it, we passed it on to our friends for their twins, and they got another 4 years out of it before passing it on again.

Hello there! It is a little bit daunting when one goes baby shopping for the first time. I had my boys a long time ago back in the 80’s and products and merchandise have really moved on since then! I think it’s important to remember babies grow very quickly in their first year and I concentrated on basics such as vests, babygrows and simple garments which were easy to put on baby and comfortable. It’s nice to have a few special outfits but it’s really not worth paying a small fortune on babies clothes. Equipment such as furniture and prams are best considered carefully before investing in and asking yourselves questions such as how easy are they to transport in the car,are they multi-functional and easy to push around? One item I can truly recommend is a baby carrier. I used mine so much in the first 3 months and my boys loved them as they feel comforted by being so close to you plus you are able to wear them indoors and outdoors and be hands free! Anyway, it’s such an exciting time for you both and I’m delighted you’re feeling better and glowing! 💙🧸🎉

I had a convertible, top and bottom stroller, with my first, and ended up hating it because it was so heavy to get in and out of the car. We ended up using our travel stroller exclusively once my son was large enough. Joolz Aer for reference the one hand open and close is the best. So I recommend getting a nice, sturdy travel stroller and then getting a double stroller once you know the age gap between the two children. We got a side by side because my toddler wasn’t going to like being separated from his sister. We still use the single stroller a lot and either our toddler walks or baby is in the carrier. So it is nice to always have both strollers.

Congratulations Laura and Ollie. You bith will make the most amazing parents. It is clear to see you already love that little boy so much. Unsolicited advice coming... A simplified rule of thumb when it comes to dressing baby: they usualy would wear an extra layer than yourself. They arent very good at regulating their temperatures yet, so when you take a layer off your self, take one off your baby. When you put a layer on, put one on your baby etc etc.

So happy for you both Laura & Ollie, lovely video seeing you both so excited for your new life adventure. Choosing big items is so overwhelming, especially now when theres so much choice ! When i had my winter baby, we bought a traditional Silver cross pram, it was so lovely for long local walks, baby all snug inside, but also so nice in the summer as baby could stretch out and have a comfortable sleep in the day time, and you can buy them in great condition second hand, we bought a buggy too for the car & train, its all a learning curve, especially with your first baby, i'm sure you will both be brilliant parents xxx

all of the strollers are pretty much newborn to 2 yrs. the things you should focus on are how easy is it to manipulate with one hand? an you collapse it and open it with one hand? is it heavy? can you carry it up 3 flights of stairs? will you use it for special outings or every day around the neighborhood? some are more comfy than others. can you steer it with one hand? will it fit in the back of your car? in your hallway? will you keep a second one just for the car? my kid has a verifiable squishmellowTM habit. i told her i would never teach her that growing-up means destroying the child's heart That lives within ~

Yes always get a double! I recommend the iCandy Peach 7 bundle it’s currently £1200.00 for the double. Good for tall babies/toddlers and parents! It also has a ride on board built in too! So extra safety built in as its not an extra add on! Very good for a baby and toddler to go out in. You can have your child either sitting or standing using the ride on board feature. Think future proof.

I know everyone goes crazy for the Uppababy Vista, but we opted for the Cybex Gazelle S (you showed that in your video as well) and we loved it for our first. He’s now 2 and we still use it for him and his little brother (little one in the cot, the 2yo in the seat), so now it’s a double but when we just had our oldest you couldn’t even tell it was suited for use with two kids… best investment ever!

I would recommened watching baby videos from Fleure DeForce, Emily Norris and Kate Murnane, they helped me a lot My recommendations: -Pram: we chose Silver Cross Wave Double over Uppababy Vista bc it had option with bassinet on top and toddler seat on bottom. I didn't want my newborn to be so close to the ground and far away from me. -Car seat: Cybex Cloud Z2 (10/10) -Clothes: M&S pure cotton bodysuits (10/10), Purebaby and Mori (I tried to avoid any fast fashion brands that use nasty chemicals in their clothing) -Gro egg room thermometer

A boy - congratulations 🎉😊 so exciting. As far as equipment is concerned I would highly recommend finding a local baby store. I have one not far from me and they are a lot more knowledgeable than the bigger stores, and its usuallyeasier to try car seats and prams in your own car. For prams think about your lifestyle - do you walk a lot, if so is it mainly in the town or countryside. Also maybe second hand. So many are barely used. By the time baby is 6mths you may only want an "umbrella" style buggy which are excellent for travelling. Good luck x

The 3 in one prams are great. The car seat sits on the frame the baby pram, then the buggy for bigger baby all go on the same frame. I had one were all the covers, and even the cover on the hood came off, so u can wash them and used it for 3 children, then sold it because it was still in great condition . Just take your time in picking a pram the sales people will go through everything and show u how to do everything and, off course, walk around the store pushing it. I also, at the time, got a small 3 wheel buggy because they are great for going walking on the beach , going to open farms and woods, basically rough ground. The weels are just fantastic fantastic for that. Great to see you both so excited 😊. O there's two and half years between all my 3 Chrildren so the 3 wheeler came in handy but then again we didn't often have to use the two together because they just walked 😊. My midwife on my first child gave me great advice, don't listen to others stories because every pregnancy and birth is different just read everything, recommend the book, Great Ormond Street , which covers pregnancy, birth, and everything that comes after. Best book, put it this way after reading it when I was in the laber room I knew what everything was for its full of great information.

Definitely don’t need a double buggy unless you were having then within close ages as in 2 under 2. Just buy a normal buggy and then it will grow with you as your family grows too. Toddlers don’t normally like to be in the pram and prefer to walk more of the time. Tip would be to look at others bits outside of the box so bedding, baby nail clippers, baby towels or smaller towels. Clothing for when they are slightly older is a good idea too. They will grow so quickly so having some other clothings in a bigger size helps to have on hand. Also look second hand for clothing, they will grow out of it so quickly, having second hand can help not only for quantity but also cost. Baby grows with scratch mittens in also helps as their nails grow super quick so also nice to have them built in to keep them from scratching themselves. When my friend was pregnant we made her and her husband separate snack boxes so when she was breastfeeding she had things on hand. Food, energy bars, Lucozade, magazines, breast pads and nipple creams etc. also can never have too many muslins. Also batch cooking before hand can help, saves you having to cook especially for the first few weeks❤❤

Congratulations!! For the first couple of months baby will probably mostly be in sleep suits and vest under most of the time. I found ones that buttoned down the middle best I hated putting the ones on the had to go over the head as I was worried about supporting the neck and when a nappy explodes you are grateful to not have to pull them off over the head! (By the way vests with envelope necks can go down the body if this happens). Get a couple of easy on cute outfits (soft trousers and soft tops) in small sizes but I found that I waited until 3-6 months sizing for using outfits as opposed to sleep suits. But it depends on the size of your baby, if you have a small baby you might want outfits in size 0-3…. If you have plenty of sleep suits in various sizes you are covered and can buy cute outfits when baby is here and you know more of what you want when due to size and seasons. I brought so much I did not use as baby was not the right size in the right weather. Enjoy your pregnancy and preparing for baby. Everyone will offer you advice, but we are just saying what we found worked for us, listen to what others say then do what works for you! X

Polarn och Pyret, is a swedish brand, and they are great quality, can definitely recommend their clothing. I have two kids two years apart and a lot of clothes both have worn and I feel like polarn och pyret (pop) hold up incredible well. As to a pram, I do think it is wise to have one where two can sit, mine are now 1 and 3, and of course the older want to run around, but he tires quickly and its golden to have somewhere for him to sit too. We didn’t think that far ahead and bought Britax Smile wagon and car seat when my oldest was born. And its so nice to be able to change the seat easily as they grow. And the car seat can click on to the wagon too which is amazing when the baby falls asleep in the car, you just pick out the whole seat and click it on to the wheels and the baby can continue to sleep! Amazing! A bedside crib is also amazing to have, then you can see your child, have it super close, and easy to nurse without leaving the bed ❤

We also got quite a lot of tiny clothes as presents. We had a really nice blanket and a couple of XL muslins for the cold, so she didn't need a whole lot of layers underneath. Outside she wore a one of those cute bearsuits. I can highly recommend those. For our stroller/pram we had/have a Joolz. You can turn those into a double as well.

And for prams Bugaboo Donkey Duo is really clever and worth the investment. Ergobaby swaddler was also really good. Or alternative option ( if baby likes hands up) is Love to dream Swaddle Up. Hi Laura! I would highly recommend bugaboo donkey. I night the single one for my first and then my second one was born 20 months after so I needed a double one. With the donkey you can use it as single with a side basket or extend it two two seats. I know a lot of people with double prams where one child is under the other and the one on the bottom hated it! My kids (I have four now) always loved the side by side. It looks very big but it actually fits through anything as a wheelchair would. I’m using it now as a single and I love the extra basket 😊

When you look for a nursery rocker, I recommend an old fashioned wooden rocker with a tall back. Here is why I recommend this type of chair: I’m a great grandmother who has actively helped care for my grand children & now my two great grandchildren. A wooden rocker cleans up when there are spit ups, milk leaks, etc. The wooden joints develop lovely creaks & squeaks that become mesmerizing and comforting, particularly when you are sleep deprived. A tall back is such a comfort when the caregiving adult can put head back & catch a few minutes of sleep when nursing or comforting a fussy infant. Enjoy this wonderful adventure😘

Prams - see what will fit comfortably in your cars first, with shopping space/ compact down nicely. If you don't use your cars that much, then make sure the pram is light enough to pack down and set up frequently by yourself with something in your hands (like a baby) and you're able to carry it/ maneuver it up stairs.

Although it's so tempting to buy cute outfits, the most practical items for the first few weeks are Vests, babygrows with poppers that do up down the middle and can take off easily. The ones you have to get off over the head are a nightmare after a poo explosion! Muslins are an essential. Get lots and wash them lots before baby arrives so they're lovely and soft. Pram wise, the Bugaboo donkey or baby jogger city select are both great pram options if you think you will have 2 children close together as they can be adapted for 1 or 2 children of different ages i.e a newborn and a toddler. I would look for a parent facing, not outward facing.

With double stroller you are definitely right. In most cases you just need some part to attach basinet and seat to the same chasis. Uppa baby vista looks good with such large basket. Just make sure wheather you can push only one child when it is modified as double. Sometimes you can use it when both seats are weighted due to stability. Choose the one that you can push with only one baby in althougj its modified as double.

I had the Uppababy Vista for my 1st with the plan that when we had a second we could expand to the double seat. Baby 2 came along when sister was three so we used the double set up for a few months. In the beginning when number 2 was in the car seat (we had the compatible Uppababy Mesa) or the bassinet, it was great. By the time number 2 was big enough for the proper seat, number 1 was too big for the toddler seat. We ultimately sold ours to a friend and replaced it with a single jogging stroller because we live next to a forest and found the regular stroller wheels were too small for trail walks. Even though we didn't end up using the double features of the stroller for as long as I thought we would, the bassinet and car seat compatibility still made it a great purchase for us. For baby clothes, keep in mind that they are lying on their backs almost all the time when they are new so avoid things with hoods or buttons on the back. Sleepers with built in hand covers are a game changer because babies have super sharp nails and scratch themselves constantly. Also recommend waiting until little one is here and you know their shape before you really stock up on clothes. My 1st is super tall and slim, number 2 is tall but square so things that I kept don't necessarily fit the same.

The bugaboo donkey is a good choice for going from 1 to 2 if you want them side by side, it fits through a standard doorway in double mode, but can be used as just single with a little bag alongside the seat/bassinet. Or models like the uppababy vista can be used as a single and then you can add the second seat/bassinet later on, this’d be in tandem rather than side by side.

LOVE watching you go through this process. I’m expecting my second and thoughts on prams: I’d definitely go for a double from the first child if you’re thinking of possibly having another. We’ve gone for the Cybex Gazelle, we used to have a second hand vista and its really annoying to fold. Also, in general we found friends and family were really generous and I was glad I waited to see what we got and then topping up. Baby Mori sleepsuits are the best.

Regarding the (double) prams it also depends on how much time you might want between babies. If you're planning a bigger gap (and with planning I mean starting to try after X amount of time) then the eldest child can probably use a little step/platform that you can add to the pram. If you want/hope for a 2 kids under 2 situation then a double seater will be more interesting because a child under 2 will probably still want to sit a lot. What I learned about prams so far is: - How big is it when it collapses. Will it fit easily in the car? Will other things fit as well (diaper bag, groceries). - The basket underneath the seat can be really handy if you're planning on doing lots of (shopping) trips. I have a pram with a basket that is hard to install/remove but I can't permanently keep it on if I want to collaps it to get into the trunk of my car. Therefore I never really use it but miss it when I buy stuff. I think some newer models don't have this problem. - Get one of those big keyring grocerybag holders that you can hang onto the handle. Those are great for hanging the diaperbag and other bags to the pram. - Do you want a 3 in one (so with a carseat, bassinet and chair), 2 in 1 (so no carseat added on) or just a bassinet? Recommended time spend in a carseat is a maximum of 2 hours where I live so we used the option to put the carseat on the frame only for short trips. Not every carseat will fit every pram. I have a Bugaboo Chameleon with adapters for the MaxiCosi Pebble carseat. - We used the bassinet for just under 6 months. My Bugaboo has a bigger bassinet than some other brands which gave us a little more time in it. If tall babies run in the family it might be interesting to check the size of the bassinets (as I think the MaxiCosi pram looked so much smaller so we would have changed it to a seat earlier on but that would be sad as she slept so well in the bassinet). - We changed the pram to the seat part at 6 months and she can use that for a long time to come. But I noticed a lot of people switch from a pram to a buggy because they take way less space when collapsed (keep car size in mind). But the cheap ones I found flimsy and the nice ones are easily another 300 euro's so I'm sticking with what I have. But some bought a cheaper bassinet pram and a more expensive buggy. - See what kind of accessories you can get included and which are add-ons. I have a winter and a summer cap for my Bugaboo and the summer cap is amazing! It gives shade and air (as putting a muslin cloth over the cap isn't recommended as it will make the inside of the pram HOT). Raincap I have used 2 times (as they are quite covered in the pram already), the footmuff a bit more and that's big so she will still fit in it next winter. Most stuff can also be bought 2nd hand when you find yourself really missing it. - See if baby wearing interest you and do a bit of research so you will pick one that works for you. I loved to have both options. You can also shop for it after the little one is born so you can see if he likes it (some don't and carriers can be quite expensive sometimes).

Congratulations! Thank you in sharing such a joyous moment. I’m not one to give advice but I recommend as tempting as new born clothes are to invest in more 6-1 year sizing, they seem to grow overnight😂 As our first was a January baby I loved how convenient a winter zip up sack type suit was for changing accessibility. Lots of changing to be done so zippers and snaps especially for bottom pieces will be handy. As for strollers our oldest didn’t want to get into a stroller by the time our second one joined us. I would recommend a stroller that has a rear standing platform and for family trips we had a lightweight foldable umbrella stroller for when the eldest needs a sit down. All the best❤

For the first 3 months baby mostly wears a sleeper all the time. Long sleeves, long legs and sometimes with the feet enclosed. Also a vest and a little soft hat suitable for sleeping. There are rare occasions when "dressing up" makes any sense. As for the prams, are you also shopping second hand? If you can find second hand equipment that is in good condition and clean, that is where you are likely to find a bargain. Blanket sleepers are also great for winter as babies aren't too good about keeping their covers on.. Be sure to take his. picture in each outfit. it is fun to look back when he is grown.

Choose a pram that can have an additional add on for another child. Side by side is not convenient for shopping and going through doors or sidewalks. Children ride in them until they are 3-4 or so. You can check second hand for the add on parts if they are too pricey.

If you want more than one child I would prepare for that in mind as much as possible. Most toddlers will stay in a stroller until around 3 years old - it’s also for safety reasons. If you’re walking or nursing a newborn in public you can’t necessarily chase after a toddler at the same time so stroller is necessary to keep them safe and close by. Another item I’m glad we prepared for to have 2 is the baby monitor. We chose a brand that can have 2 cameras hooked up to the same monitor. We knew we wanted to have more than one so we prepared and in the end the 2nd baby came as a complete surprise A LOT earlier than we planned so now we have 2 kids WAY under 2 years old. In North America the uppa baby vista is by far the most popular double stroller but we chose the Nuna Demi Grow because it was even more compact and we’re really happy with it!

Depends on the child. Some children walk at 12 to 15 months, and they love to walk everywhere. But then you need a very portable, lightweight stroller to take along for when they get tired. Usually this little stroller would be in the car. A second baby would go in the original buggy, and if the first one is walking well, there are little seats that fit on the front of the buggy.

Oh also I would highly recommend getting the carseat adaptors for the pram, and a carseat base. This is invaluable and saves have to manually strap the carseat into the car every time as you just drop it on to the base. I know you said you struggled with the baby bjorn carrier but they're great when you get used to them! I think they're much more secure than the baby wraps/slings.

Congratulations. Lovely baby boy. 💙 I had a feeling it would be. Lovely little outfits laura and Ollie. It’s always lovely dressing them up. Basic sleep suits and vests will be your friend. They will get stained (baby poo is something else!) so just get cheapish ones but with the fold over cuffs so you don’t need scratchy mitts which just fall off. We got on well with next & m&s ones. Baby baths we had a tummy tub which looks like a flower pot but was brill for bathing them. Didn’t feel like they were going to slip and go under the water like in a traditional baby tub. Babies are so slippery when they’re wet. They will need loads of bibs from milk, sick and dribble. Otherwise it gets their chest wet and potentially leads to a rash. Prams are an investment but worth it if you get good one you can sell them on for a decent price. Definitely get a travel system that you can just click the car seat onto and there are a few which you can get attachments to make the double push chair in the future. We had an iCandy is great for that. I had one with my twins however when they where older it is more difficult for them being one behind the other and had to invest in a side by side because they were the same age. But when the girl’s were newborns to 6 months, I had their 2 year old brother in the top seat and the pram part behind him with one of the twins (with another twin in a sling). My favourite pushchair was my bugaboo though and we would have just kept that had we have not had twins. You can get a toddler board for the back that they can stand on. They do need a pushchair until 2 1/2- 3years I would say depending on the child potentially longer if out for the whole day. If you look at a side by side the donkey is great. Check your front door width! You tube is great for tutorials on each pram to compare ti help you make your choice. I hope that helps. Also an maybe join an NCT course to meet other new parents and learn about baby too. Good luck

In my experience, the most important thing about buggies/pram is that the dimensions work with the boot of your car, it's not so heavy that you can't lift it in and out on your own and it's easy to put up and down. You don't want to freeze to death in car parks struggling with a buggy that was designed by someone who clearly has never used one! Baby clothes- you will get masses of new born baby clothes as gifts (or at least we did) so just buy the basics and save your pennies for summer clothes.

I know you will have lots of people who will give you advice. I had 5 kids and the thing you will need the most of is sleepers, lots of them and of course diapers. There will be times when you have to change his clothes 3 times just in the morning. Spit up and diaper blowouts are in your future which will require multiple changes throughout the day. Lots of booties and get several of the same kind and color. I say this because you will lose booties in the laundry. Don't ask me how it happens but it does. I would do plenty of sleepers, booties, swaddling, receiving blankets, something to put him in during cold weather. Now if you are always going to warm your car before you go somewhere with him and do the same when you leave wherever you are going, then don't go for anything too heavy unless you are going to be outdoors with him a lot. They can get overly warm. If they are wearing something warm and you have like a substantial baby blanket to put on top of him when you leave the car you will be fine. Have some cute outfits you both like for when you will be around friends and family for holidays and that sort of thing. I used to get a lot of things on Etsy because you can have it personalized with the child's name or initials if you want. Lots of cute options out there. But don't over buy the cute stuff or really anything. You will be amazed how fast they grow. I can't tell you how many outfits never got worn and still had tags on them. There are so many cute things out there it is easy to over buy. Don't cheap out on the pram (we call it strollers). I don't know if you have them over there but in the US they have strollers that you can just place the car seat into the stroller system. This is great because it is inevitable the baby will fall asleep in the car on the way to wherever you are going. The last thing you want to do is wake him up to put him in a stroller. I would recommend those wraps you can buy that cuddles the baby next to you. Allows you to have free hands to do other things and they really enjoy being next to you. I am so happy for you. Watched your channel for ages. You should do like an Amazon wish list because I can't be the only one who would love to send you something you want or need for the little one. Take care and again, so, so happy for you.

We had an uppababy stroller. It had a bed attachment that we could switch out for a seat, we could also put a car seat base on it and move the baby car seat from the car to the stroller. Our son was 3 when we had baby #2. We opted for a roller board attachment so he could ride or walk as he chose. (He was pretty active.) the stroller grew with each child and it was really great. We also had a maclaren umbrella stroller which was great for airplanes.

Congratulations 🎉 A few thoughts on baby things: yes,it can gfet very expensive because everything is extremely cute and you never know what to get. In Germany its quite common to shop for baby clothes second hand. You can get entire boxes in a certain size for 20€. The things only fit for a few months or sometimes even weeks. Plus, used clothes habe been washed often so any harmful colours etc are long gone. Also, you will het so many presents 😅 toys, books, clothing etc from friends and family. But i totally understand that you want ro buy a few things yourself to feel like you're preparing for baby. For the pram: if its not too weird maybe go to the local nursery and just ask parents while they drop off their kids/pick them up to hear what they recommend/hate about their baby gear. (Like: doesn't fit in the boot, can't fold it one handed, too heavy etc)
