You could get a very nice large one bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side for that price… but only on a one or two year lease. Short term rentals are always 1.5-2x the price of yearly rentals, and for fully furnished units, even more. Hope you both end up liking it!

Congrats on moving to NYC. I believe one should live in NYC if one has a chance to do so. The city literally never sleeps! Holiday season is a gorgeous time to be there because it's so festive. You probably want to do your travels elsewhere when Jan/Feb hits!

I must say that in London is more or less the same price for rent. This is what you need to pay to live in wonderful cities like New York or London, probably in Paris is the same. Good luck guys in your new adventure 🤗
