@scottwood928 I think you misunderstood. The young lady said it's $2400 each person, so total rent is $4800. And I suppose utilities are extra. That being said, I have a large 2bed prewar apartment in Brooklyn for $2200 so there are still some deals left in NYC.

Incredible how you can just work out of the home. I worked in Manhattan mid 70’s -mid 80s and it was park the car at railroad station. Take the LIRR- sit in an office all day. Commute back. No computers then-had to get dressed up every day and battle the commute. Lol but then again, an apartment like that was probably 500.00 a month.
