The apartments weren't trashy. They were hit by a tornado. As were some of the neighborhoods you were trashing.

Laurel has a handful of millionaires but most people live in a lower middle class lifestyle. It’s a good town but the county is way better. So much of Laurel is rundown. Nobody ever shows the forgotten areas. But it is this way everywhere you go. Overall laurel is a great little town and it is full of great people. Outside of Laurel, jones county is great just wish we had better fishing options.

Exactly. HGTV is not going to show what it looks like around the area they fixed up.

Mississippi has low taxes and that is why the roads are bad. Otherwise it is a charming place. God bless !
@pastorkristoffer40747 ай бұрын
We have politicians that take their time on road projects. I’ve lived in towns that refuse to have bad infrastructure but laurel needs to take advice from Ellisville. The roads are horrible and when they do fix them it takes forever.

Most labor comes from outside. Avg wage here is around $12 hr. With avg rent costing $1000/ mo. People broke.

I’ve traveled extensively throughout the south. Laurel actually looks better than most towns this size. Thank you for featuring the good as well as the not quite as good.

I don't like the crappy man talking. Starts out calling Laurel crappy then talking about the man picking up scrap, most trash is put out on Sunday for Monday garbage day...honey you should see the women who see furniture on the side of the road, get out of their way. I will listen a little longer but Mr. Negative. Anyway where are they from that he can be snooty?

You notice what I do. Red flags🤫For the record, you might say the street names and north or south, so people can map as you go. You are going hap hazard and it is like riding in the car with someone who can’t follow directions. Maybe even point out highlights, otherwise it’s like taking a Sunday drive with dad. He didn’t know where he was going and would turn around and go home when he was tired. We never did see the Gatlinburg tram. I never took another trip after that🤫

I am going there in 2 days. Watching this I am not sure. It looks like a ghost town. Where are the people? Everything is so bland, no traffic, not real attractive. Where was the General Store? I don't understand but going anyway.

Thats the south. Make sure your careful entering and exiting your car too.. they will take that. Nothing like what you see on TV.

Disgraceful and a waste of time! You came to a Town/State you know nothing about on a Sunday! Many places are closed on Sundays in Mississippi! This guy's mouth never shut up, just plain nonsense. When you go on a trip you plan it out. These are wanna be newbies that apparently have no idea on how to travel. If this were my video I would be embarrassed and take it down!
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Жыл бұрын
What i would be embarrassed about is your dang town.. or the fact your in Mississippi 🤣 we don’t care what day of the week it is in Florida every day is life for us. I don’t know what all this religious observance has done for your state for one its got the highest murder rates in the whole country.. your all not as religious as you think you are what your state is … quite the opposite. You southern states are all killing and stealing and living like pigs in a barn while while being hypocritical enough to claim being of a faith SMH
