I love my container of simple strips, and my box of "pieces". You are totally right about things being easier when you are grabbing from whats on your desk. Those 2 black marker lines on the happy birthday card made the card!! I love "living on the edge of my pants"! Did you mean flying by the seat of my pants? Your watercolor florals are beautiful! Videos like this are great during this time. I have sent, or left on porches with groceries or goodies, over 40 cards. I stuck around to the end.

Of course I stayed to the end! I was amazed at the number of cards you were able to pull together in such a short time. I also love that you show your thinking process, including the mishaps. Everyone needs to create a magic cup! Unfortunately I tend to wait until a card is needed to try to create one. Yes, I am a procrastinator! Then the card is made in a hurry and I am not always happy with it. I love your idea of creating parts of cards, backgrounds, die cuts, sentiment strips,, card bases, etc ahead of time. Sometimes you just to color, or cut or fold, or stamp. You have inspired me to give this a try and make my own magic cup. Thanks Laurel!

So cool that you used those Alcohol Inked backgrounds along with the watercolor florals ....and just “all of the stuff’ you’d been saving! I, too, was AMAZED at some of your color combos, too~~~but I LOVED them! I also like to keep small sentiment strips to use “whenever”! Embossing in white on black IN ONE SHOT and then storing in the “MAGIC CUP” is so CLEVER! I thought your SIMPLE additions of “a black line”, or “black n’ brown dots”, and spritzing were PERFECT to pull designs together! HOORAY! TONS of cool ideas here so.....THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I so so love the Magic Mug . Just throw all the tiny left overs into my mug ! I've seen others divide the leftovers into color families in a zipper bag. Somebody's over thinking there ! And others have made stripes of different widths for future use ...Whatever ! Get a Magic Mug, folks ! So, yes, I stayed until the end of your video ! No one wants to miss the end ! And, the background you did with watercolors yeeears ago, while you lived in Connecticut, was beautiful. If we need a card in a hurry, this is the way to do it !!! Just love all the cards. U watched where you had all the extra card fronts and sentiments made. I have card bases made and scored like you do I get bored and while watching tv, i make card bases and cut card fronts to use inside and outside. I always have them ready when I'm ready to have a long happy day of card making. TFS
