Yup, love all the ideas. First I’m going to do: the clear embossing. Second: gouache! I used an embossing folder, brushed lightly embossing ink over the raised parts and then embossing powder. Going to try that with the DO inks… Thanks, and I am in for the DO inks video👍

Gouache - my new favourite word to sing like I am a five year old child! I like the squash of the gouache with black cardstock. I like to do that with stone drops, you get great texture squishing it onto card and place another card on top then peel off the top one. Highlighting the bumpy bits with a gold marker is fab, but who am I to tell you this, I probably leant that from watching you. Thanks for sharing this 🤓

Thanks for all the techniques. Interference mica powders and products that have them also work on dark cardstock. I like the old technique of embossing ink and the powders with a brush too. Never realized guache doesn't need special paper, love the tips. I also use the glacier paste thinned with water on my glass mat to stamp with, kinda looks like foiling.

Love all of these ideas! The paint is amazing. I am the worst inker/blender in the world and have w total of 4 DO's and a bunch of cheapies. I have a heat gun, just need the ultrafine wow. I love black card, the last I ordered was a dark charcoal but I'll make it work!

Love these techniques you are sharing. I got wild about foiling a few years ago. One of my techniques is to print out a lot of my favorite or customized sentiments on the computer. Then choose my laser monotone Brother tiny printer bought just for this use btw. And oh yeah black on black WHAT? You really can't make it out. And the magic comes in by laying a pretty foil (right kind of foil) sheet over entire 8.5x11 inch paper and run it through your laminator. Voila you have metalic printing or drawing outlines etc. Just design or digital design in black and white and you'll get the most amazing results. I made some cute gnome circle tags for friends who make gnome dolls. And I discovered if you have grayer areas of fill in that the foil (fabric foil btw & very inexpensive by the 25-100 foot rolls usually 12" wide.) and you get a lighter or different look too so amazing. I also laser entire sheets of white and black paper or any color and then foil and that provides me with wonderful card stock to die cut too. Oh my gosh you should see my dragons die cut. Ok back to white on black. You can buy white foil that prints just white not metallic white and you get similar look as this too. But I love my stamps and sayings but sometimes I want a snarky or naughty or personalized name to a project and the laser/toner and foil/lamination achieves it. I just ordered not received a dot glue sheet thingy by WeR and want to try applying the dots to a black card and overlay foil and run through my embossing machine and see if the dot glue holds the foil but releases all other. It may be a total failure but oh babe what if it's NOT. I love thinking outside the box. That's why I love your tutorials and videos. Keep them coming. Oh and I love the double stamp used that lines up together in different fonts. YES Please. By the way you caught my eye like you do some times when searching to see what card makers recommend for lint like rollers to help clean up powders and glitter overflows or dust ups. (I know I do use the swifter or generic swifter sheets they are fantastic. I also was hoping to find out if those tacky rollers that you just rinse under water to renew work to clean off an embossing card of the residue left by non static powders. I've had a lot of trouble cleaning off the residue especially with black and dark cardstock and also textured dark cardstocks.. So darn here I am ENJOYING a second video today of YOURS. So it's all YOUR FAULT...lol

Ordered the two step stamp from The Ton from watching them on your episode. Unfortunately that company has very poor customer service, I paid extra for 3 day shipping and they will not be here in 3 days. I contacted them asking for my extra shipping cost back. I just received a form email about when I could expect my shipment, which is definitely not the 3 days I paid for. No person has responded to my emails. So please let your viewers know that they do not have 3 day shipping. And they won't get to talk to a real person.
@TheTonStamps Жыл бұрын
Hi Melissa, The shipping information on our website clearly states that it could take up to seven business days to fulfill orders due to our show schedule. The days for delivery is calculated from date of actual shipment. Your order was shipped within two days of order placement. Nowhere on our website does it say that you will receive your product in three days from date of order. What you choose to tell individuals about our business is completely up to you. Please spread the word about my company. They’ll come to my website to see what all the hullabaloo is about and they may just purchase! Thanks for spreading the word :) Effie
