Lauren, this song means so much to so many people. For the last 3 years I have played guitar and sing for my Mom and Dad while they were together in their old folks home. My Dad passed away Dec 23rd 2019 and now I just sing for my Mom. Then sadly in March 2020 the horrible virus hit the world and where my Mom is they got hit very bad with many deaths. My Mom tested positive for corona 19 but I played outside her window as often as I could. I sung "You Say" for my Mom and the other residents and staff at the locked down old folks home outside her window with my busking amp and mike so as many could hear your wonderful song. It was so hard not to cry when I sung it but like the song has in it, I got strength from our Lord Jesus. Greatest news of all is my wonderful Mom has fully recovered from the corona virus. God bless you Lauren for the beautiful song and your love for the Lord. God bless

At the time you say was my ring tone. I didn't answer the call because I had to listen to the song. It made me change my mind. I didn't want to kill myself anymore. First time I ever heard this song, I was driving for work (I do Hospice work). I had been going through so many struggles. Relationship issues, children struggling with life, and we had just had a fire which destroyed our whole house. We literally had nothing. This came on the Christian radio I listen to and after listening to the words.... I broke down and had to pull over. You say, “Taking all I have and now I'm laying it at Your feet You have every failure God, and You'll have every victory, “ I have lived every word in this song. The first time I heard this song, I only heard part of it because the sound was down low and I was only making out certain words and I thought it was about a really bad abusive relationship... and then I started listening harder and turned up the sound because it said "YOU SAY I AM LOVED WHEN I DON'T FEEL A THING" and I thought, that makes no sense with what I was thinking and then I realized this is a prayer! We’ve endured great heartache through death, physical pain and, serious illness of another loved one. In all of this, it turned out that our pain was TOO MUCH for others...and they walked away. This song, your song, was used by The Holy Spirit to finally get through to me that I am so much more than all the thoughts I was being bombarded with daily by our common enemy. Lord knows, Satan had a great deal of information to pummel me with. I always kept the armor on! One day, in tears, crying out to Jesus, telling Him that I HAD the armor on but I was barely able to tread the painful and very lonely waters that I was in, I was reminded of one word in the Ephesians narrative about the armor...STAND! I decided right then that if even if Satan would kill me, I would no longer cower, and I stood up straight and tall. Through it all, Jesus has been trying to get through to me that I was in a great spiritual battle. And then this song...your song...it was like I could finally hear of what His words were for me. Me too! We're not in this alone, and even if we don't feel like we fit in here on Earth, we KNOW Whose we are. Just knowing that makes it easier to connect with our purpose, and those that God has put in our lives. I played this song in the car once, both my friend and I started crying, I didn't understand why he was crying it's not often he does. He told me he knew the meaning behind the song and so it hit him in a different way than it hit me. Today curiosity struck me to find out the meaning myself and it turns out this was something I needed for myself and to better understand him. I'm so grateful there are people like you in the world because music honestly does wonders and as I've seen from some comments, even saves lives.

I can’t get enough of this song it’s my number 1 on my worship list she’s such an inspiration to me and she really truly has a gift from God to sing 🎤 And I love all of her songs but this is my favourite one this song it has everything a song should really truly have I loved the part when she sang this: TAKING ALL I HAVE AND NOW I LAYING IT AT YOUR FEET, YOU HAVE EVERY FAILURE GOD YOU’LL HAVE VICTORY!!!!!!!! I love this song because no matter where we are, there is always these voices speaking lies, and we have to know what God says about us in order to regect those negative voices, whether from us or the devil. Getting the truth in us and keeping it is very important for us. One thing that I ask God as often as I need to is to clear my mind and take all confusion, for God is not the author of confusion, however Satan is. For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love power and a sound mind.
