In “Sixteen Going on Seventeen,” the puppy love duet between Liesl von Trapp (Lauren O’Brien) and Rolf Gruber (Markki Stroem) end up dancing through Tony Award nominee Douglas Schmidt’s expansive Villa Trap exterior, lit by Tony Award winner Natasha Katz.
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music,” directed by three-time Tony winner Jack O’Brien, now on a global tour, plays at the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre in Circuit Makati until Sunday, Mar. 26, 2023.
