Hi Lauren. The song is meant to encourage athletes, nothing evil about it. Both men and women are called to go forward, hence the deep male voice and the lighter more feminine voice. Dimash sings in 5 octaves here! ( just a little side note 😅) His last note was E6! Dimash concerts are always amazing to witness. Lots of things are going on beyond his amazing voice and stage presence ❤ It is a total experience 🥰 If you want to see something cool from Dimash you should react to El Amor Enti from the Almaty concert. You will be surprised 😊

The song OlImpico (which became known as Ogni Pietra) was composed by maestro Igor Krutoy, with Italian lyrics by Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and arrangements by Erlan Bekchurin. It was composed specifically for Dimash for the 2019 European Games. With this song Dimash won, on December 5, 2019, the Victoria award (Russian equivalent of the Grammy) for best singer of the year, in the classical genre ("Best Vocalist in Classical Music").

Yes, yes, yes💥. Thank you for reacting to this exact version. It‘s from his Arnau concert in Kazakhstan in 2019 (Kinetic Voice). It's 100% the right version. Dimash sang this song many times after this performance as well. But honestly, some things just don’t get any better. I think this is epic. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen the video and every, really every time my heart starts to race and I get goosebumps. That facial expression after singing the high notes. Wow, what a beast he can be. He then completely captivates me🫣. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. In my opinion, Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅. I did not realize that Dimash and Aida Garifallina were up for the same award that year Vocalist of the Year in Classical Music which he won and then Dimash ends up performing with Aida twice at Igor’s Birthday concert on ice later that same year❤ Thanks from another Dear!

I still remember, that when I heard this for the first time I was shocked the most after he went down from that high note in the middle. That was the moment I remembered, how low the song started. Dimash is the ultimate perfromer. He is always just playing with you. Compare When I've got You to his Ave Maria or (again in Italian) Passione). Funny thing is he steps off the stage and becomes just another "normal", a little shy, humble, and at times silly and dorky. Until his next encounter with music and performing. Then he turns once again turns into an Olympic performer. His most personal performance is Omir. Two versions - a mood video and a studio version where his brother Mansur plays guitar.

Yes, it’s the best version in my opinion. I know it doesn’t help you now, but although the default subtitles are in Italian, the auto translate to English on this particular video is quite accurate. If you have the time or inclination, you may want to watch it again with the lyrics. For me, it enhances the viewing experience when you know what he is singing in real time. I thought this particular version was from his concert at Almaty... which was A-MAZING!. That concert was somewhere north of 2.5 hours and had several incredible performances including the phenomenal El Amor En Ti (with 4 Dimashes!). Some numbers are very straight-forward - quite a number are these incredible production pieces with the dancers and effects. In the opening number he descends from a giant tower (1 of 3 on the stage at the beginning). Interspersed throughout, Dimash's commentary on love of country, love of family, peace and love of mankind is the overall theme (something Ogni Pietra itself ties into). I believe the original version was performed at some athletic-games competition, which certainly makes sense. Dimash's channel has the Almaty concert broken up into 3 videos, each around an hour. I see someone else mentioned it is from Arnau, so perhaps I'm incorrect about the origin of this version - but all of his concerts are mega productions.

The last note was an f6 - the highest note ever sung in opera (Mozart: Queen of the night aria). Even for the most female sopranist it's a very dificult task and only handful are able to sing it so clear as Dimash does
