Fantastic, clear interview, inspires me to keep going! I'm about halfway healed, have had CFS 18 years but have had much improvement lately by doing many of the things she's mentioned!. Mindset and brain retraining being key for me. Took me years to put myself first but therapy has helped me heal emotional blocks/traumas and now I'm making faster progress. These videos are a lifeline BTW, yours and the others who put out positive CFS content on YT. So thank you!!! 💜💜💜

I love how she prioritizes her health, and yes in the beginning it’s work, then it’s routine.

This interview has truly remotivated me following some setbacks this summer. My body needed to rest more because of the toll my first experience with panic attacks had on my body. It was both mentally and physically defeating. I am once again trying to balance rest with movement, as well as get myself fully back into my normal routine. It is much easier than when I began my recovery because I have learned so much since my earlier day with CFS. Thank you so much Lauren and Raelan! So looking forward to your book Lauren! I appreciate all that you both do! ❤

I just love her calm demeanor. Something about me relates to you so much I think cause you’re from Rhode Island and I live in NY 😂 . I love your tips. Stepping down from work took me 8 months because I worried what people around me would think. And my parents were disappointed- told me not to tell people I was on medical leave. I told them I was not ashamed to work on my health. I also have those spirals you mentioned but I struggle to get past them but I know I’ll get there. I’m going to start writing things down, I think so much more positive on my good days but as soon as I have a bad day my thoughts go all day long and torture me. Thank you so much for these videos.

Very interesting and informative! Gut issues seem to be the main culprit for me too. Also the mind retraining and mindfulness combined with avoiding triggers helps a lot. Super thankful for you Raelan for sharing these!

Wow! She basically verbalized my journey. Perfectionist, hyper-achiever and very responsible to others. Her comments regarding acceptance is not resignation so insightful. One of my most significant challenges is to accept where I am. Thank you, thank you, thank you both. ❤

Hi Raelan and Lauren. I truly appreciate these recovery stories and I'm deeply appreciative of all your guests who have shared their own story. It's got me thinking about my story and I've started putting it down on paper. I want to believe I can heal from this however I'm not yet there in believing it. I'm not giving up though. Thank you for offering a different perspective. Every time I watch one of your videos my ME/CFS mind gets a little less locked into a specific narrative and a little more curious

OK! First off...here's what resonates with me. Diet is key, anti-inflammatory foods, & for some reason, if I eat after 7 or 8 pm, I'm sick the next day. TIRED & WIRED, IS HUGE...again, I was up until 1am on my cell phone & am not functioning today (at all). Lyme? I should get tested. I've had this my whole life & will get better. Thank you Lauren & Raelan ❤ for giving us hope!

Great video thank you!!! The talking to yourself/ pep talk is similar to part of the rewire process in 'ANS rewire'...its so important for rewiring the ANS...I think it helps sooo much 💖 daily affirmations help a lot too!
