A Static Lullaby did a nice cover of Toxic. it's great though to hear a lot of these pop and rap songs redone in rock/metal versions! a lot of em sound better than the originals! hell Leo Moracchioli's version of Gangster's Paradise i like better than the original. Rain Paris does some nice covers as well as Lyric Noel. love all these female metal heads out here singing and killing it!

It's weird to realize in restrospect that Britney is a proper alto who basically got abused into carrying on with the fake baby voice. It's challenging to find clips of her singing for real, but she's got a whole other sound naturally. I think that's why it fits. Underneath it all, it's not a bubblegum song.
