Aw thanks. I did get it with copyright anyway so I think I'm just going to start singing again and I'm going to remove the ads from the content from now on. If the copyright holder is going to take all the money I just won't have the ads run in my lesson. But no more interruptions for the students so it makes a better learning experience for you.

Lauren, I love how you focus on counting. My instructor pounded into me that the D/U does not teach you that. To learn Rhythm you have to learn the beat and counting and he was right so I'm glad you are focusing on that.
@LaurenBateman3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you do have to count as well. Eventually the rhythm becomes feeling and counting happens less and less.

Great video - as a beginner, I'm really grateful for the alts to the barre F chord. Just to say though you threw in the EM and DM chord later on but you didn't mention them at the beginning of the video and show the graphic for what they look like. It would be really helpful to have all chords shown. Thank you for the video 😁

I still got hit with copyright 🤣🤣🤣 Probably because of the mandolin parts. So I turned off the ads for the video. If they aren’t going to pay me anything for my work then my students can watch the lesson without and ad popping in.

Damn …… n u only sang to give students the cornerstone to where u were in the song…that’s too bad :( but it was still a VERY good lesson with beginner, intermediate n advanced stuff in the lesson; alternate picking doesn’t get enough attention, so much info in this lesson :) definitely one of ur best lessons :)

@LaurenBateman3 жыл бұрын
Yeah sometimes with bands it's hard to hear exactly what's going on. Sometimes I'll listen to an acoustic cover or a live acoustic version. But still when artists play live it doesn't guarantee that they're doing it exactly the way they did it on the record
@centreman58 ай бұрын
I do love a lot about your teaching, however this is an 18 minute video when it could be done in 8 minutes - which would make is so much clearer and more concise and easier to follow. (Ditch the ads for your other videos)

Jesus I had to give up - far too much emphasis on strumming patterns!!! An entire section on it then you lose focus in the verse and go back to strumming patterns. Sorry but I need to find a new teacher to follow
