Girl you are doing amazing! When you said that, you were nervous because you had tried before and failed and you were worried about what people would think really resonated with me. I know I’ve seen Facebook memories of me saying I’m trying again and knowing that I failed. Last year I had weight loss surgery! I never in my life thought I would be able to do that. My highest weight was 346 pounds in 2015. I lost 117 pounds on my own but I starved myself. I ended up gaining most of it back. When I had weight loss surgery I was 332 pounds. Today I am 222 pounds. I am one year out from surgery, and it has been a life-changing experience! Whatever way you have to do, it is the way that you do it! If the shots help you then, heck yeah go for it! With all of the toxins, and crap that we’ve been putting in our bodies for years this is better even if it has some side effects. I am so proud of you, Lauren! You inspire me. I turned 50 last year and for the first time in my adult life I’m the smallest I’ve ever been. Little things like crossing my legs, or sitting on the floor or not having to sit so far back from the steering wheel, are alllife changing things even if they seem insignificant or small. You go, girl!

I just want to thank you. After you started Mounjaro, I brought it up to my dr and got started myself in Dec 2022. I did Mounjaro for 2 months and then switched to Wegovy. Last month, I started on Zepbound. I have lost a total of about 55 lbs so far. I have about 55 more to go. Because of you I did Keto in 2019 and dropped 85lbs… maintained it until 2023 and gained 50lbs back( health issues/depression). I went to my doctor in tears because nothing was working anymore. Blood work shows I have insulin resistance and started a combo of metformin and semiglutide. I have since lost the 50lbs I gained and I feel amazing. I still have about 50 to go but semiglutide and metformin combined has been a wonderful and my body responds so well to it.

I’m so proud of you Lauren!!! I’m on wegovy and it’s been a major asset to my life. I recently had my physical and all my numbers had improved and it really highlighted the fact that all my ailments were due to weight. I’ve lost 40 pounds and my blood pressure is teetering on normal and in 6 months hopefully I will be off meds by next Christmas! This is why people should stay away from comparing meds like this- I have had the COMPLETE opposite experience. I was on semaglutide for a year and lost weight quickly- but likely because I was SO. CRAZY. NAUSEOUS 🤢 ALL. THE. TIME. It was AWFUL. So bad, in fact, that I eventually just stopped bc I felt literal anxiety over my upcoming injections. There were quite a few times the nausea got so bad that I’d throw up. So I was switched to Mounjaro and it’s been heaven sent. HARDLY ANY nausea, even at my current dose of 10mg. Completely manages feelings of hunger and I’ve learned now to eat when I feel actual hunger - not bored hunger or sad or tired hunger. And I have also not had any digestive issues- in fact, I’m more regular than I ever have been- and that’s as someone with IBD, diverticulitis, and chronic constipation. You even said it near the end of the video- everyone is different and responds differently- but this is why videos like this are not prudent. And they may ultimately prevent someone from trying the medication that may actually be life changing for THEM.

I came across this video I just turned 48 today March 4th my husband passed away November 6 2023 from a heart attack 🥺.. he someone that was super active and exercise.. I’ve been putting my life on the backburner for way too long.. I don’t go out unless I go to work and then I come home.. I’m not that social.. I have an appointment march 5 after my birthday to get blood work done to get the injections as well .. I too hide at home because I have issues with my body.. I recently been changing my eating habits and the kinda of work I do slims me down with all the walking that is required..but also suffer from high blood pressure which I can’t seem to get the bottom number down which is frustrating smh and also pre diabetic.. and from the stress of my husband passing which now I’m taking anxiety meds for but I didn’t stumble across this video for nothing it was divine intervention and it’s what I needed to hear.. today was an extremely painful as I’m approaching my birthday without my husband so I thank you and I’ve became a new subscriber❤️

I just quit taking Ozempic one day, I didn't care what my dr said anymore. I was sick ALL THE TIME and fed up. I was on the 1mg a week dose for type 2 diabetes and I didn't know what it felt like anymore to just sit with no stomach pain. Even since I've been off of it for over a year, I still have bad stomach issues with sour stomach and all of that. I completely changed my diet too, I eat plant based and no oil now and still have stomach issues. So I have permanent damage from it, I took it for around 3 yrs though. The bad thing about it too, it didn't help my diabetes that much AND I didn't lose ANY weight! So I just wasted time being miserable for literally NOTHING! I'm very happy it's helping you and I hope it continues to do so. Your weight loss journey has been very inspiring. ☺

I started Mounjaro on 10/31/23 and I'm down 50lbs. It's crazy how everyone can be so different. I think people just have to try to see what works for them. When I tried semaglutide a few years ago I was so sick and barely lost. I have GI issues and semaglutide wrecked havoc on me to the point of hospitalization for severe dehydration. I do have symptoms in Mounjaro but they are manageable. I'd be surprised if I didn't have symptoms because I'm extremely sensitive to medication. I agree with saying how much you lost because some people get sad that they didn't lose as much. But I tell people too that I changed my lifestyle completely. I changed all of my habits. I just incorporated working out as well. I just wish I would see the difference even though it was 50lbs it only feels like 5lbs to me. I just can't see any changes even though so many people say they do

As someone who has been advised to not exercise anymore (my upper limit is walking) due to 2 fairly rare conditions, I get so frustrated so quickly by the weight game I've been playing. I can only lose through diet, which I have been able to do and maintain, but there are a few times when I wished I could maybe join a gym to get the endorphins awake. Hi Lauren. I’m on MJ but my insurance isn’t covering it now. I’m going to try Semiglutide. I really hope it helps me as well as MJ. I am on 15 mg of MJ without much in the way of side effects other than constipation which is controlled with magnesium. I have 2 more weeks then I’m going to try the Semiglutide. I really hope it helps me as much as it’s helping you! I’ve lost 105 pounds and I don’t want to go backwards. I still want to loose at least 40 pounds!

I got hooked with the pregnancy updates and binged all of your vlogs of the last 3 years over the course of the last month or so 😅😬......I love your little family, and I love watching you grow (and shrink!). Hey girl, I was very surprised to her you say that about Mounjaro because, for me, it was the opposite. I had more digestive side effects on Ozempic, and Im a diabetic. I guess it just depends on the person.

Semiglutide made me feel like I was overdosing on like benadryl. I was so tired and half comatose. And couldn't eat NOTHING! And never lost anything. So I switched to the tirzepatide and so much better but still haven't lost. So yeah I'm pretty sad about it. I'm thinking I'm that 1% that won't loose 😢

That is so funny you say that about Mounjaro. I had so much worse symptoms with Semiglutide than I have with Mounjaro. But Mounjaro only last for about 4 days for me and then it wears off and I have food noises again the rest of the week.

Your experience is definitely not the norm because most people have a lot more side effects on Ozempic a.k.a. semiglutide then they do on Mounjaro aka trizepatide. I have zero side effects on MJ taking it for pcos, insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. After 16 months Im on 15mg ZERO side effects. Side effects on GLP medications are supposed to be tolerable if someone is miserable on them like you were on Mounjaro then you should stop taking it and that goes for everyone out there … if people cannot eat and they’re so miserable it means the medication is just not for your body and change it up or maybe none will work for you. We are all different and they def dont work for everyone, the trials showed that. Edit: I will say I know you’re doing the right things, but there are a lot of people on these meds that do not do the right things. For instance they don’t get enough water you have to drink water with these medication‘s and a lot of people don’t and then they feel horrible.

I’ve taken both. Semaglutide was awful. Side effects were miserable. Nausea so bad I’d often throw up. So of course I lost weight. Mounjaro has been complete opposite experience. I’m now on 10mg and have lost regular, consistent weight since starting it a year ago. It’s been a god send compared to semaglutide. Just another reason why comparison videos like this are not helpful. The human body chemistry responds SO differently to pharmaceuticals.

I wonder how she would do on the name brand 🤔 I belong to several FB groups and I see it over and over how Mounjaro works better for them vs Ozempic regarding side effects. Nothing against Ozempic for sure… Im not opposed to trying it, Im actually curious lol, but MJ has been great to me. We are all different and our bodies all react differently. All the side effects Lauren had on Mounjaro I have experienced NONE. No sulphur burps, no constipation, no heartburn, etc etc. GLP meds are saving lives, changing lives, I say do what works for you, no competition here other than the manufacturers competing for them dollars 😅

Yup. Same here. Comparison videos like this are not the best idea. Human bodies, while we all have the same parts, respond very differently. And majority of people have found side effects to be much less on mounjaro than semaglutide.

The thing us also the standard American diet and lifestyle causes people to put on so much weight. Fast food and junk food is so available over thete and your portion sizes are crazy! People have to change their eating habits and exercise more in order to stay at a healthy weight. We simply don't see the amount if morbidly obese people here in europe as you have in the US.
