As someone how reads webcomics all the time I found it funny how you put ‘the ship has sailed’ as lowest rank. From the webcomic reader perspective it means ‘through thick and thin, this ship has sailed successfully (basically the ship has either stayed strong as ever or continued to get better or just started sailing)

i love how heartstopper is so realistic, a lot of shows with lgbtq characters don’t really show how things really are but i feel like heartstopper expresses it really well. also a similar thing that happened with nicks coach happened to me in seventh grade, my pe teacher somehow found out that im gay and she told me all about her girlfriend and it was so sweet. (i got in touch with her recently and she’s openly dating her gf at work now) 🥳

It’s funny because all the reasons they listed for maybe putting them in “it’s good but…” would’ve been my reasons for putting them in protecc! They got through some tough stuff this season and came out the other side stronger. Their miscommunication felt pretty typical for high school couples struggling with heavy stuff tbh - but the beautiful communication by the end was just 👩‍🍳💋

Personally, I think they should go in Protec, too. Like, I totally understand the reasoning, but just like Nick and Charlie, they support each other through their respective issues. When Darcy opened up about her family, Tara was there for her, just like when Tara came out and caught all that vile flak from the people at school. They're mirror images in that way.

Oneslty i did enjoy Heartstopper, it's a nice comfort show and is good at that. My point is, and i know it is not a popular opinion, the show is not really that interesting. If it was not about queer teenagers nobody would care that much, also i find the story itself cheesy and a little bland. Anyways i do agree with the ranking.
