Lauren, what do you think about Ai hype? Artists and designers are afraid that Ai can replace them very soon. For example, Ai makes pretty nice patterns in 2 seconds, and now thousands of people have started selling this "art" successfully.

It’s a good question. My opinion is that it will probably require some legislation around this type of ai being plagiarism. It’s ultimately using millions of images that it doesn’t have copyright to. I think it will be fine in the end but there could be some rough patches in the meantime. Ultimately, I wouldn’t let this fear stop you from being an artist. Lots of companies prioritize working with real artists. 💗

I'm not a huge fan of white backgrounds 'cause I always end up a mess or dusty lol but you have a beautiful space! soo lucky indeed! love that old wooden table! even your palette is pretty lol. I'm too nervous to have open water by my laptop so I have to have a lid lol. how do you childproof your supplies? I set up in the livingroom and have to childproof/cat proof lol

Haha, yes, white backgrounds can get messy but they're good for seeing color and reflecting natural light. Childproofing and cat-proofing is very difficult, lol!! My child is only 1 year old so for now my supplies are in a separate bedroom.. although I'm slowly working on a new space in our basement so I can be on a totally different floor. It's not a fully finished basement so it's a little ugly, but we do have heating down there so I am trying to make it work. How old is your cat? When Luna got older, she always hung out in my studio but just wanted to sleep so she would either be in my lap or curled up in a blanket. Of course, she would walk across my table sometimes so I tried to keep everything tidy so she wouldn't step in paint or anything like that. Best of luck!
