People in comments on declutters lately have been kinda harsh and particular, so I’m just gonna say it’s okay to keep and get rid of whatever you personally feel! Some people want and get joy from a big collection, some like a smaller collection. You can flip flop between those two mindsets in your own lifetime too and that’s perfectly fine!

Definitely! I've gone back and forth depending on my needs/tastes. Especially over the years in learning what I like and works for me. I don't personally feel the need to have a huge collection. But, I like to have enough variety in colors/finishes to pretty much cover any sort of look I could want. Sometimes I just wear some bronzer on the eyes and go. Other days I want to use 6 different colors and get creative lol.

I totally agree. Heck I'm trying to locate some of the pallettes I get to see in other people's collection. At least I know what's all been put out. I hate that I can't get my hands on some of them from other countries. I've heard it said and it's the best I got to this day--- " You do, You!" Then...we all can be happy. There's something wrong with the person trying to shame another person! They need to check themselves at the door! Especially here on social media... no one is twisting their fingers---they need to scroll on.

You can remove the Shine by SD shadows from that bulky packaging. I don't even think you have to de-pot them. I think the palette just comes apart because they sent me an empty one in my last order!

The reality is older palettes don't sell as well, and if we invest our money into bringing them back, we tie up funds that can be used to stop needing to have preorder. I have been away from makeup videos for quite some time and just came back to a couple of the channels I used to really enjoy just for a trip down memory lane and this palette declutter was awesome. Really cool seeing all the palettes and I really like your collection and how you have a lot of different stuff. I really enjoyed this declutter and how you kept each palette brief with clear decisions and still managed to open everything and even swatch! But the one thing I love that makes these so satisfying, especially with larger declutters like this I'm not going to go back and watch again is numbers! I know you get to see the impact of your choices and that's probably enough for you, but I don't remember every decision and with large collections from people who are so passionate about this stuff, it's really motivating to go back and try the same with my assortment of makeup when I hear someone say they started with 200 palettes and got rid of 60, for instance! Satisfying and motivating!

I got an email about the Huda Beauty neon palettes because they were sued or something, so they were giving people their money back for them. I had bought all 3 palettes and they sent me the check for the cost of them!!

I believe it was because pressed pigments can cause staining and irritation so they are not FDA approved for use around the eye (although they are approved in Europe and other countries) so they have to be labeled for legal reasons. I believe Huda hid the label and someone sued because it stained or irritated their eye

BH was bought by Makeup Revolution actually. They just came out with some new palettes, but they don't seem to be the same great BH quality as in the palettes you showed. Some palettes from BH didn't have that great quality and it seems these new ones have the lesser formula. Hoping in the future they have some come out with the great formula.

I love my BH cosmetics palettes. I still use the origanal zodiac palette (i got it a couple years ago at tj maxx so it's not that old). My favorite palette is the smitten in switzerland. I could never afford Marc jacobs stuff when it was new but I picked up a lot from marshalls and tj maxx over the years. The steeletto palette is my favorite gray palette. It's more gunmetal/purple leaning grays which play well with my skin tone. Other than that most of the other palettes are just not that impressive, especially when compared to my indie shadows. I'm still annoyed with odens eye about the Christmas palettes. I was saving to pick the up , but they sold out so quickly.
