He was meant to be yours and no one else’s ! But I get you ! People r so odd about black cats ! That’s why I adopted the two ( from Home Depot ) I use to work there and they were born there and the tabby was dropped off and came running /crying up to me and that was it ! She slept in my arms while helping customers in the garden section ! Your dog is so cute snuggled up under the covers ! So glad you moved that little makeup vanity ,as I always felt it did not go with the heavy grandeur of that gorgeous bed. And I love a fluffy bed visually. There use to be a store here n California years ago called Strouds.... I use to go there and drool over their luscious beds. I vowed to one day have my bed look like that. So I do have a trick that every one comments when they come into my room. Its that I take that rust colored coverlet on your end bench and I wrap it over a body pillow at the end of the bed. What a difference. Not on a bench but on the foot of the mattress. Its a wow factor .

I love the luxury, yes need to let them see and feel it, once you do you never go back. I bet with all the low lights and the drapes pulled that room is just dreamy in the evening. Does it get very cold there in the winter. We are outside of Pittsburgh, Pa and it gets pretty frigid here. The addition of the leaves everywhere looks like fall all around you. Oh, just love it. What I ended up doing to get that fluffy bedding was, I bought a winter duvet so that it is full and fluffy. I love it, the weight of the duvet feels like a weighted blanket. Then I add a blanket under that and bamboo sheet. When my grown kids come over they love to lay on my bed.
