Beautiful work of art, Lauren! I, too, am passionate about Christmas decorating! I love to decorate every room of our home. I have started, but still quite a lot to do. Hope to be finished before Thanksgiving so we can relax and enjoy. Through the years, I have collected ornaments in gold, champagne, ivory, clear glass, and crystal along with gold musical ornaments, touches of deep red to create a formal music themed tree. Several years ago my mother decided she did not want to decorate a tree anymore so she gifted me her ornaments from decades of collecting! It is a sentimental collection from my childhood to present and beautiful ornaments she made with her mother and sisters through the years…a very nostalgic tree. Each year I alternate my tree decor between my mother’s nostalgic tree and my formal music tree. I decorate our home according to the tree theme. This year will be nostalgic theme…all the way!! My mother helps me decorate, so it is a special time we share. I cherish the days…especially after loosing my dad and brother a few years ago. I have my mom to thank for having a love for decorating my home through the year, but Christmas has always held a special meaning for our family. Thank you for all you share to inspire others to make the world…and our homes….a beautiful place!! Excited to see what you share next!

My husband has been a lifelong no-xmas-before-Thanksgiving guy. But he's giving it up this year. ❤ Out of respect I just put up the tree with white lights and fireplace garland. No red or overtly Christmas decor, but still bringing in the pine and white lights for a more festive feel. Plus I find mixing some autumn colors in the mantle pine garland looks really beautiful. So far I'm loving the compromise.

You have out done yourself again this year! I love that you start early so you can focus on your family during December. Me too! I change my theme from year to year and now my kiddos make requests. Last year my daughter was a Senior in High School and requested a PINK Christmas! This year my other kiddo wanted a BLACK (and white) Christmas. This will be a first for me more modern and graphic but I love a challenge.

We’ve got a country Victorian home, so this year I’m doing a blue/green Tartan ribbon, pinecones, orange slices, natural twine-like texture ornaments. Last year our son was 10 months old and I was just glad to get the tree and mantle decorated

I’m a maximalist. I’m not as grand as you and NO Santa Clauses for me, but I decorate every room, including bathrooms, my little radio flyer wagon with a tree in it on the porch, presents on my bike outside. The things that have gotten me most excited is anything with scalloped edges. I’m having a real moment with that. Scalloped edged dinner napkins to a scallop edge collar. I’m just loving it right now!❤️🎄

I use to be more of a Christmas maximalist, but we are selling our place so I had to significantly scale back this year. I focused on natural elements over Santas (think garlands, poinsettias, dried oranges, cinnamon sticks, etc.) It's very minimal but I actually love it. Might do again next year! Bu I love consuming Lauren's content for my maximalist fix. Another great year, Lauren!

I usually decorate with traditional colors. I do like some pink Christmas in my bedroom though. I always go all out. I have a snowman themed room. Gingerbread and peppermint in the kitchen. The living room has a mixture of things like the grinch,nutcrackers, deers, etc. My bedroom is ski lodge themed but i have some spaces for my pink things. I'm trying to finish before Thanksgiving so that I can enjoy everything for a month. I love watching your videos.

I’ve been living in a mid-century home for two years now. I decided to decorate with that in mind. I have an aluminum 7’ tree and decorate with white, silver, turquoise and black. In a way it makes it easy to shop since that is somewhat a limited Christmas color pallet.

I like to change it up every year. Blue/white/silver, red/white, red/white/green, all white, etc. I usually just do one "big" tree (7ft) and a small tree in the basement when I have both our families over. This year I randomly decided to do a "peacock" theme for our main tree which I usually only do on the small tree, so needless to say I've been out gathering more supplies, lol. I love all Christmas decorations and definitely go over the top but understand it's not everyone's style. I would never "complain" about someone else's decor, because I enjoy seeing it all (even the poor "beige plague 🙃). I always look forward to your videos because I just love how you decorate and love the over the topness of it all.

I love traditional Christmas colors. I do most of my decor in red and silver with faux greenery. I like to do most of the house but it is time consuming and tiring but so worth it when done. It is according to the mood of what colors I use. Sometimes it is red and gold or red and white, some years it is blue, I have done white and silver like a winter wonderland, or even gone country with muslin, burlap washed out blues or burgundy. Last year it was red and black plaid. A couple of years I did turquoise with the bright colors like a grinch theme. I love to put out my village and my collection of nutcrackers, and our horse's jingle bells we used to put on them at Christmas when we rode our horse and buggy through town. I do a lot of decorating but not as over the top as you.
