Love your videos! A quick tip...when refilling any dry ingredients, put what is left in your container in a baggie before refilling. Otherwise the old stuff may not be used if you keep refilling. I use what is in the baggie first so your container is always fresh.

Nice video. Really enjoyed it. ♥️ One thing I have to say as far as the parents keeping kids entertained all summer. Ohh my gosh. We had to make our own fun! Make up our own games, ride our bikes, made our own kid clubs. We always used our own imagination. Our parents always said ,that if you’re bored ….it’s your own fault. There’s always something fun to do. Use your imagination. Those were the good ole fun days.

All my kiddos are grown now but when they were young, I didn’t really schedule during the summer. If the weather was rainy, we might go to the movies or an indoor play place but otherwise it was kind of play it by ear. The school year was so scheduled & busy it was kind of fun to just do thing’s at will. Plus sometimes 1 kid might have someone sleep over and another might have someone come over to swim during the day. Or one might go somewhere w/ a friend. And I would just do my thing (laundry, cleaning, cooking while they were playing or crafting or watching tv. Obviously swimming was not me thing that I really needed to be right there for so I would do laundry earlier or later. It was also the time that I actually made them more responsible. If they pulled out craft supplies, they had to put them away. Same w/ toys or pool things. Since they were on break, they had more time to complete chores rather then me doing as much. The corn & tacos looked amazing!!!

Hi Lauren ! You have to get the scrub daddy barbecue brush instead of using the bbq brush with the wires ! Also if you add some orange juice to your carne asada marinade you won’t regret it!

My niece ate a burger that had a wire from the wire brush that people use to clean their grills in it. Somehow it wasn't detected until it got stuck in her throat. Very scary situation but the hospital took care of it.

I have little ones, but my biggest tip for getting stuff done but also being present for them as a SAHM is to put the house back together after they go to sleep. I used to try to put everything away during dinner and make up their bottles and I realized I wasn’t being present enough. So now I eat dinner with them and lay them down for bed, then I go downstairs to load up the dishwasher/take out the trash/put away toys/pack my husband’s lunch/etc 💕 I love to come down to a clean house each morning, but being present with my children is a priority!

Lauren, you need to update the photos at the beginning of every video! Lol! Maybe some new chicken coop, the pool, your front yard decorating shenanigans...how you have been decorating your new home! I know it is a lot of work...we appreciate all your hard work in filming, editing, finding content...and life! Also, lay down parchment on your baking tray prior to putting bacon on it...oven safe - and makes clean up a lot easier!

God bless Lauren, and her busy organized schedule. I am so excited, about this Summer, for I need to take my grandchildren to camp, when their parents can’t. Today, my grandson, who is 8, started his first day at camp. I took him, and it was fun, and his siblings r younger, and they will start camp tomorrow. I had fun, visiting with the younger ones today. I am concentrating on instilling good lessons within them, and started this game, of earning points, for good deeds, good listening, cooperation etc. all you do is beautiful, and thanks for sharing, I could smell your delicious cooking. 😘👍🙏❤️🌻🌹🌟✨💫🌺✝️

Great video!!! Our kids are in camp daily and then do jujitsu 3x/week so they have a pretty organized day. On weekends, it’s simple - play outside , pool , church on Sunday😊

Tip for cleaning grill that is safer for your family… we use onions always have to clean grill. I’ve heard potatoes work too, but haven’t. My picky eater loves the skirt steak aka arrachera marinated because meat is so tender. Use citrus juices pineapple orange lemon with your favorite spices and lots of garlic or just buy Goya’s Criollo Mojo.

Also stretches your anticipation to really enjoy the experiences you plan. HAPPY Monday Lauren, family, and fur babies. That pillow looks like it will be amazing. We are grandparent's so we give our two grandbabies season passes in the Summer to Idlewild Park. We go to Kennywood Amusement Park. Pap Pap takes them fishing to a lake. BBQs at our home, not to mention our 8 yr old granddaughter does dance competitions; and in the Summer her parent's put keep her in dance to stay fresh on everything from June to July; zoo trips, Swimming. It must be a regional thing. We call anything on the grill “grilling”, and the only thing that is barbecue is meat with actual barbecue sauce on it - bbq ribs, bbq pork, etc. Always interesting like the the coke vs pop vs soda vs soft drink debate! 😂

En México los esquites solo llevan limón, mayonesa, queso fresco y chile en polvo y son deliciosos.
