Congratulations! Cats! Love having a companion. We have had to introduce two younger cats in the past and it can be difficult. The best way is to put them in a separate room and introduce them slowly so that they create a bond over time. I think that the videos from Jackson Galaxy on KZbin are super helpful on introducing cats to each other. Good luck!

Watching this on 🍋 pickup day!! Omg how cute is she?! 16:16 we have a mat for under our dog food and water bowl, and it’s been a lifesaver. Our late dog was a little messy due to not having some teeth, and when we dog-sit my dad’s dog, he’s just messy as a quirk, so you’ll love having a mat I think. I can’t wait to see little Elle be a big sis

To keep the litter box odor down try a mixture of distilled vinegar and water. I put mine in a bowl and mix a small amount of vinegar and more water. If you put too much vinegar your room may smell like it. I put mine on a shelf up where my cat does not go and it works wonders.

Congrats about Lemon! 🍋 I love cats and I had 4 cats when growing up! 🐈 I suggest you feed them separately and give them their own bowls since cats are particular of their food habits. Another thing to consider is to have 2 litter boxes since cats are particular about that too 😊

Congratulations on your new baby 🍋❤ We brought home a tuxedo kitten (a stray 🥲) a little over two years ago. She’s basically velcro and she won over our grey boy cat who was 11 at the time. Those two are connected at the hip, snuggle, lick each other, play fight 😂 We read it stresses out cats to eat close to one another so we feed them apart (and then they lick each other’s bowls). If you haven’t seen this already there’s a “magic number” for how many litter boxes you have; you always want to have one more litter box than you have cats. Not sure if space-wise that’s an option for you but throwing it out there!

This is such a crazy coincidence! I've been wanting a cat but didn't know what kind to get, Elle/you inspired me to get a ragdoll as I thought a ragdoll would probably suit my situation best so I went to tiktok and followed one creator with ragdolls to be sure and it was Pearls Ragdolls!! As soon as you said Lemon I was like wait a minute...haha! Thanks to both of you I made up my mind to get a radoll. My ragdoll girl will be coming home in 2 weeks!

Apparently when you’re introducing cats/any pets it’s a good idea to let them get used to each other’s smell first i.e have one cat in the bedroom with the door shut and the other cat outside the door. They can smell each other first then after a while you let them see each other etc. just do it slowly so they don’t get scared and lemon and Elle will be besties in no time 💓💓
